Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This development is conveniently located about a 10 mins walk to the town centre. Plenty of pubs/restaurants and shops to choose from. It is quiet and quite charming on the edge of beautiful walks. No traffic noise or anti social behaviour. Bin collection is excellent, and visitor parking is available. There is good public transport a short walk away. Only down side is that this development is at the top of a very steep hill, so the walk home from town/ transport is quite a challenge! You need to be fit!

It would of been very helpful to know that the after sales team would be a long process, therefore sub contractors, gardeners etc could be booked in to “fit” with dates/timings.

What is the best feature of your home:

The position is fabulous. The aesthetics of the development is admirable, and charming.

Stunning views all around and close to some lovely country walks, however a bit of a walk to shops and restaurants. Very spacious with lots of green areas.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We moved in during the winter and the garden wasn’t finished because of the weather. This meant we didn’t have a garden for a long time.

What is the best feature of your home:

Massive garden. Beautiful open plan kitchen/dining area. A blank slate to put our own stamp on!

Plenty of local shops in Newton Abbot town but down a steep hill. Mainline rail access. Quiet area with minimal traffic.

Heating system is a bit complicated. Would have asked them to set up upstairs thermostat differently had we known.

What is the best feature of your home:

Nice design. Good layout. Nicely finished. Decent garden.

The area is fantastic. Close to town and all the facilities but far enough away for peace and quiet.

Be very very thorough with your first snag list. I think I would pay a company to do this in the future.

What is the best feature of your home:

Large spacious rooms with lots of natural light and high ceilings.

Ideal area to live , close enough to walk into town pubs restaurant s etc but far enough out to be peaceful

If you have problems you have to keep on at them to get things done .

What is the best feature of your home:

Good area with really lovely views . Quality homes just need better customer care .
