The design is lovely and works well. There’s lots of great features ; the building management was efficient and on time and to a reasonably high standard , with just a few things that could be niggled at that could have been done better but over all I’m pleased

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s really quiet , there’s no traffic noise, no anti social behaviour, however the parking availability is not good with no over flow parking at all for visitors

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The kitchen was a lot smaller than I had realised.

What is the best feature of your home:

Definitely the French doors on the kitchen letting all the light in

Very satisfied with our own house design with good quality modern fittings. We have a good driveway for 2 cars plus detached garage. Any small snags have been fixed quickly once reported to after sales. Property management company won’t come into effect until the estate is completed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

10 minutes walk to local shops. Plenty of good restaurants within 10 minute drive. Good park and ride service in to town. Await completion of the estate for a local bus ride to be set up. Close to A5 for motorway links. Good regular bin collection service. Very little local traffic noise. Plenty of green open spaces within 5 mins walk.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We have been disgusted with Scottish Power for 16 months as the Gas Smart meter has never worked. We still await meter replacements and this is only happening because the Ombudsman has got involved.

What is the best feature of your home:

We spent time seeking exactly what style and size of property to suit our needs. The EPC is very good.

Happy with house but after sales non existent

Really like the design of our development, especially as where we are has its own private drive so doesn’t feel like we’re on a big estate. Happy with our house and didn’t have any big snags and after living here for two years not had any issues. The after sales from Miller though has been awful, no communication and the small snags we did have in the beginning were never fixed so just sorted ourselves.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location is excellent for us, 7 minute car journey into the centre of town. Bus routes within a walking distance. Local shops five minute walk away. Massive field for dog walking just up the road. Traffic noise sometimes an issue but doesn’t bother us massively. Bin collections reliable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just how long it takes your address to show up on maps!

What is the best feature of your home:

Love the kitchen/diner, patio doors and the hallway.

Tudor Park is a lovely new development with a broad range of house styles well designed to suit modern day living. The build quality is excellent with full fibre to the door internet service. The after sales service is excellent which far exceeded our expectations as we have had a few new builds in the past. This is entirely due to the Site Management team in situ. They go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy and have gained our utmost respect in doing so in such a friendly and helpful way. Although the site is quite naturally noisy during the week , once it is finished I am sure we shall be very happy here in our retirement. The local family medical centre provides excellent health services which we have first hand experience of. It far exceeds those services we found in South Somerset. In summary, all minor snags have been attended to promptly and satisfactory.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Our house is a 10 minute walk to the nearest shops. We have easy access to the A5 leading to North Wales in one direction and M54 to Birmingham in the other. Tree lined street with own driveway and garage. Excellent services for bin collections. There is a proposed local bus route leading to further good shopping facilities also to a Park and Ride facility direct to Town centre.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would have liked to have been able to view a show house of similar type on the site.

What is the best feature of your home:

Build quality , quality of fitments, room sizes which suit our requirements.

Perfect home for first time buyers. Been lovely to make this house into our home. The neighbours all seem very friendly and miller homes have been very approachable when needed.

3 bathrooms for a 2 bed seems a lot. Would rather a larger master bedroom. Very limited for space. Love the open plan kitchen and downstairs toilet. Brilliant for when we have family round. Garden could be slightly bigger especially as there is so much wasted spare land the side of us.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location on the end plot. But very busy main road with awful traffic noise. No close bus stop near us? Parking is awful if we have visitors. No where to park. Neighbours have blocked our driveway a few times due to this. Short walk to the mere where we can walk our dog. Neighbourhood seems very friendly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Since moving in we have found some minor issues with the finishing touches. Noticed there is a large hole at the bottom of our stairs which had been fixed with wood filler? Paint all over our tiles in the kitchen. Attention to detail needs to be improved. We had a leak from the toilet through the fire alarm on our first night because the toilet was not fitted correctly which resulted in our roof having to be repainted. Since then we are finding bodge jobs which definitely needs to be looked at proper to moving in! However , miller homes have been very understanding and most jobs have been fixed.

What is the best feature of your home:

Our open plan kitchen is our favourite room of all. Perfect for when we have family round. Enjoyed starting from scratch with the garden. Designed it ourselves and we love it!
