Birmingham Luxury home

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Here is one of the most upscale home in Birmingham. It's my personal favorite. Upload photos of your development to be published alongside your review

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

well-organized and efficient.I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Moda Mercian. The facilities are top-notch, and the maintenance team is always responsive. The community feel is great, and the location is very convenient. However, the recent renovation has caused some disruptions to the communal areas.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Everything is clear. As a Moda Mercian resident, I've been quite happy with my stay. The amenities are great, especially the on-call maintenance service. However, the ongoing renovation has been disruptive, impacting the overall aesthetics, particularly the lobby. I hope these disruptions can be minimized soon to restore the previous charm of the place.

Manager response

Thank you Jing for your lovely review! We understand comments and feelings regarding the works taking place in the Atrium- we assure you we will be back to looking pretty again very soon. The countdown has begun to get us back to normal operations! :) We are so pleased you love the amenities. Thanks Jing

Our best rental experience living in the UK

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

In the heart of Broad Street, it can be noisy on the weekends, with cars honking in the middle of the night and sometimes fireworks. But we enjoy the convenience of being a 15-20 min walk to New Street Station and even closer to Brindley Place and The Mailbox. Some buses and trams stop a few steps from the front of the building. On Broad Street, you have access to all the nightclubs and bars, with Brindley Place and Mailbox offering dining options. A short walk to the Birmingham City Library, Utilita Arena and ICC. There is plenty of street parking nearby, a Sainburys Local nearly right opposite the development. Quite a few hotels around as well in case you want to have friends or family stay nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always respond very fast and try their best to resolve issues raised quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing I can think of, we did our research and took our time before settling on The Mercian as a place to relocate to.

Convenient, Friendly, and Well-Connected Community with Great Amenities

Segilola (Tenant)

Verified Resident

Nov 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I’ve loved living here! The community feels welcoming and well-maintained, with amenities that truly make it feel like home. The area is very well-connected with a range of public transport options available, including frequent buses and a nearby train station that provides easy access to the city center. The area has a fantastic selection of local shops, restaurants, and bars within walking distance. There’s a good mix of independent cafes and well-known brands, so there’s always something to suit any mood or preference. The variety of restaurants nearby is great too, with options for casual meals as well as more upscale dining.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management here has been responsive and proactive with any issues I’ve raised. Whenever there’s been a maintenance request or a concern, they address it quickly and professionally. The team communicates clearly about any updates, and they genuinely seem committed to making sure residents are comfortable and happy. I appreciate how approachable they are—especially [Eliss and Zain], who always follows up to make sure the issue has been resolved to my satisfaction.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The waste disposal system could do better because it’s really frustrating that I have to go to the ground floor from the 27th floor each time I have to dispose waste
