It’s pretty much a 5 minute walk away to any major attractions, transport services and local stores.

Been living here for a while and haven’t had any problems.

I knew that there were regular events but never knew that they would be so much fun..

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Restaurants and bars line the streets in the area so there's always something to do, with views of the river out onto the sea just down at the waterfront at the bottom of the street. With a train station across the street and L1 bus station around the corner, transport around the city and into and out of the city is easily sorted. Noise from the Wetherspoons beneath the building and people outside is very limited and not a bother.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Responses to maintenance issues are swift and can't be faulted. The last issue before the end of my tenancy was a handle repair. I filled the form out on the website at 3am, and maintenance knocked on my door at 10am. The staff inform tenants prior to any scheduled visits from maintenance, such as when fire blankets were given out and general servicing occurred during my tenancy.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The hobs in the studio kitchenettes are induction hobs, I didn't spot anything regarding that specifically before I moved in, but I may have just missed the information.

The area has a great selection of local shops and restaurants, making it very convenient for day-to-day needs. There are plenty of open spaces nearby, which is great for walks or spending time outdoors. Public transport is also easily accessible, so getting around is simple., One funny thing that startled me at first was the noise from the bin collection—it was quite loud and unexpected on my first day! But after a while, you get used to it, and it’s not really a bother anymore.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been very responsive. Any minor issues or concerns I’ve had were addressed quickly, and they’ve always been approachable and willing to help. Their professionalism really stands out.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how loud the bin collection can be. It startled me on the first day because I wasn’t expecting it, but after a few days, you get used to the noise and it’s not a big deal. It’s something future residents might want to be aware of, just to avoid any surprises.

The location is amazing and perhaps the standout feature of living at The James. It's right at the centre of key transport links -like James St. Station, a plethora of really good restaurants, bars, cafés (I'd suggest Ezra & Gil!) and Liverpool One for all kinds of shopping. You couldn't ask or expect for more.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I haven't had any issues thus far, but it's nice knowing I can shoot an email to Ellie or visit reception and get a really quick response.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The only slight downside is that a washer/dryer isn't included in the studio. Though this was clearly stated at my viewing, I'm realising now that I live here how much more convenient it would be if that was a possibility in the future.

Really nice area, close to all shops, bars/local restaurants and really good nightlife. Far away enough from the main nightlife areas so as it is not difficult to sleep, nighttime is quiet in this area
