We love our developers. They were very informative when we were in our buying phase, with many photos. The development was very small when we moved in, however it is growing exponentially. We are hoping the green areas will grow and more public transport will come to the area

The area is lovely and has great potential. However, the public transport and available amenities, such as a local shop is very poor.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were not expecting a large amount of dirt while living on a building site

What is the best feature of your home:

We love the style of our house. It is perfect for us.

The development is great and the house are all very unique in their own way. Houses are very well built compared to other new builds that we have looked at and have seen as a result of friends and family buying. Houses are very well sized and come fully equipped with all kitchen appliances included

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is home to a number of shops in walking distance as well as a couple of bars and restaurants within 2 miles. Public transport links are poor. There is access to Newcastle city centre via bus but no direct access to Callerton metro station without walking on quite busy country roads.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish that we had known that the affordable flats near our property rarely get maintained and rubbish from their bin storage area constantly winds up in our garden.

What is the best feature of your home:

We absolutely love the large hallway downstairs and the bannister to go with.

The Story designs and development in general are second to none and in general their service is excellent but we have been let down horrifically with one ongoing issue for the last 2.5 years that I’m now having to take down formal routes. This has soured this process massively.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Immediate area there’s very little but the main road takes you into Westerhope or Ponteland very easily. It’s rural and there’s very little noise. It’s a good area to live in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I don’t think I realised just how quiet it would be. Not all residents say this but on our side it is gloriously quiet.

What is the best feature of your home:

The layout of the home is excellent and the build quality.

It’s a nicely designed house and street, good sized garden. Builders could be better at responding to requests regarding house and garden. Neighbours are quite friendly, good country walks around here. Could do with more shops within walking distance if the estate and better street lighting outside of the estate

Really love my new build home. Excellent quality and value for money. Definitely worth the upgrades such as worktop and doors as they are now a special feature in our home. Currently there is a lot of site traffic and mess on the roads. Hopefully this will change in the future.

There is currently limited walking access any local amenities, such as shops and schools. But good quiet location.

See as many homes as possible to get ideas and examples for the home.

What is the best feature of your home:

We love the kitchen area and worktops. Looking out to our lovely sized garden.
