Cladding removal on development

There's currently scaffolding on this development due to cladding issues. The replacement of cladding will last more than a year. The flat is nice, 1bed without balcony feels a bit small. No mechanical ventilation in the bathroom so it tends to get very warm, smelly and wet (during shower) inside. Kitchen is well equiped, but the fridge is smaller than the freezer. Washing machine is located in one of the cupboards in the kitchen so there's less space for pots and pans.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This building is close to the river which is very nice, but apart from that is very far away from stores, gyms etc.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Agency and landlord missed telling us about the scaffolding and cladding removal. Very unprofessional, so we will be moving out of the flat. Very disapointed.

What is the best feature of your home:

Building is close to the river, so it's nice for a walk.

Decent building with good transport access

It is quite far from shops and the roads are noisy. The road by the brewery is always blocked but it is advantageous that the river is close by. The concierge is a good service to have and is very useful for close to station. Good value and really spacious.

Not really family friendly not enough green spaces. Not that good community terrace

Fuses were blowing but the agency is not really responsive and there’s not much information.

It is designed really well and feels really spacious. Living room is open plan and i have a balcony but it does overlooks the construction. Small issues with the bathroom and the agency took 3 months to fix the bathroom to the point where I had to keep using my neighbours.

10 min from claphan junction is really close and you can get to a lot of places in london conviniently.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The cladding which is flammable and how busy clapham junction is during the weekends.

What is the best feature of your home:

2 bathrooms for 2 bedrooms which is a gamechanger.

There is little storage space inside the apartment. The wardrobes manufacturer was given to us with the wrong name so could not replace or extend it when wanted. There should be a balcony in the apartment and the windows are really hard to clean from the living room. How are the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised?  There are times where things get done quickly but when lift took a long time to fix.

I like the location as the walk along the river is just a stone throw away. the station is really close too. theres nothing i dislike.

The apartment is amazing and they are really spacious for the price. We have a large window that allows you to open up completely onto the courtyard. Both the bedrooms are sized well and have a bathroom separately to each other, the bedrooms is really spacious.

i like that its quiet and i always feel safe in this neighbourhood.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

the apartments are new so we havent hasd many issues.

it would be really useful to have a company like homeviews as it would have been great to see what real people are saying
