Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Good location if you need a hospital. Area isn't great since you're in the pits of Newport. Parking isn't the best as the streets are tight and narrow and people tend to not think about others when it comes to parking. Fair amount of traffic through the main road. Noise from other neighbours is crazy. wouldn't recommend the apartments.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
prior to moving if we had of known about the noise that comes from above apartments we would have not bought. we were told that there was certain layers, boards etc between each floor but means absolutely nothing when the noise is still there from above
What is the best feature of your home:
best feature is the kitchen island and kitchen counter tops we choose.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is very good, close to two retail parks, easy access to the motorway and only 15 mins walk into town. There's also a doctor's surgery very near and a large hospital just up the road. Traffic noise has improved since the 20 mph speed limit has been introduced. Newport city centre is not great for shopping though, lots of closed units, charity shops and limited choice.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It feels very safe to walk around the development and local area, which was an important factor for me.
What is the best feature of your home:
The best feature is the location and the fact that it's very quiet and cosy.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I find the large green lawn in front of my flat quite scarce and wasted. More trees are needed (especially as a traffic pollution/noise screen) or opportunities for gardens/plots for residents. My flat runs parallel ground floor to mendalgief road so the noise from the road it constant but if I don’t open my windows it’s not bad as the quality of windows are good. I’m also concerned about pollution so I’m reluctant to open my windows most of the time and have bought an air purifier. The location is brilliant however with close routes to Cardiff and where I work in Torfaen. Shops and facilities are easily walking distance. I love that beautiful Belle vue park is down the road. There is a lot of anti social behaviour in this area and city centre generally which I have grown up with being aware of. Newport is know for this. Thankfully it’s not yet effected me personally yet.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I’d known just how busy the road next to my flat was going to be
What is the best feature of your home:
The efficiency of insulation and thorough design aspects like fire doors.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Excellent range of shops and public transport. Very good motorway access. Parking is fine (allocated space), and Council services are efficient. Road noise is relatively low - but partly down to excellent sound proofing.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Friendly nature of the Lovell Team. Always willing to help and have a chat ! I would also mention that there are no EV charging points on site - this would be a helpful addition
What is the best feature of your home:
The light that comes into the apartment - really well designed to maximise !

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It has been all good throughout the process As our home is at the end of the property still work going on our way home and the way to our home is really pathetic. I am working to my work and when it is raining really struggling. It would be better in future if u could release property in the front or the road is clear
