Nice inside, but property management is not at all good.

Design is a bit strange for the locked garage is not fully enclosed so it is less useful. But built-in electrical applicances are in good quality. Property management is not good that the online account provided for communication is not fully-functional and complete, the problem is not fixed even after 2 years of repeated complain.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We have a quiet and friendly neighbour here at Mosaics. However, the management is not at all good. Parking spaces are not marked which always caused disputes between users. Roads on Barton Fields Road is not marked so first-time users might not know which way to go and forth and no speed limit sign is available.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I would like to know if I can change the flooring from carpet to tiles and I can add more additional facilities before delivery.

What is the best feature of your home:

The rooms are big enough and the outer design of the house is good.

A great development

Very well designed development with location being ideal for both getting into Oxford and getting out of the city. Quality of the build is good. Property management company are responsive and helpful, albeit the maintenance fees themselves are on the high side. Overall, a nice place to live.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely open spaces built into the design of the development. Good for strolling. Public transport links are great. Whilst the development currently has no shop, one is in the process of being built. Parking is easy. Bin collections are a problem as Oxford Council just cant seem to get their act together and collect on a regular basis.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The main road through the development needs traffic calming measures as some cars currently go stupid speeds.

What is the best feature of your home:

Good quality build. Nice layout to the apartment. Very well insulated. Love the underfloor heating!

Nice place to live, parking is an issue!

I like the different designs of the different houses on each street as it gives a more unique feel to the area and does not feel like you are living on a housing estate. Properties seem well cared for and maintained. The development is well serviced and clean. Facilities are good.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Still have no shops on the development, but building is now in progress so we are looking forward to having shops here soon. The nature areas, the lake and communal areas are great and are definitely a selling point to living here. Good links to city centre, the hospital and Bicester via bus, which timings are frequent. No problems with anti-social behaviour at all and I have lived here over 3 years now. No traffic noise. Weekly bin collections are always reliable. Development is clean and tidy. My only downside to living here is the parking, which has now become quite a big issue for most residents living here...there are not enough spaces per parking permit type, especially OCHL, and the parking enforcement company here are shocking, ticketing residents all the time. Parking issues for resident definitely needs to be looked into.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The Parking! If I knew it would be this bad I definitely would not have moved here. I live in an OCHL property with a permit for one vehicle to park in OCHL marked bays only... but the bays are first come first serve and which also allow for private tenant residents who are able to purchase additional permits, and also visitors to park with scratch card permits... so coming home to find nowhere to park near our homes is becoming an issue for most of us now! Needs sorting!

What is the best feature of your home:

Although my garden is quite small, it is very peaceful and private due to the high fences so you do not feel overlooked when sitting out. I like the large rooms, high ceilings, very spacious and the large windows which let in so much light.

Lovely estate but no thought to infrastructure and facilities

I love my flat! And the estate in general is designed nicely with a lot of green space. Property management is ok but poor communication in terms of what is happening on the estate. First Port website isnt useful and there's been so many problems with bills. We need more facilities here. Ground rent and leasehold is an issue.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

No local facilities. Major safety issues with surrounding roads. Lovely green spaces and lake, great for wildlife and for wellbeing and is generally well kept. Parking is horrendous and causes huge problems between residents. Poor bus service and generally need a car for everything as no shops nearby and bad public transport.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That we'd need a car for everything as there are no facilities nearby.

What is the best feature of your home:

The high spec finish and layout. Very lucky to have a balcony that doesn't face the main road.

A crowded residential complex.

The location is great, but the houses are too close together, lacking privacy. The garden is small, and the quality of the decoration is average. The bathroom has some cracks and leakage issues, and installing a sunroom is currently not permitted. The range hood isn't vented outside, causing the kitchen ceiling to yellow.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The residential area lacks convenient amenities such as grocery stores, fitness centers, and GP etc. There are too few parking spaces, making it difficult for visitors to park.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There's a canopy at the entrance to shield cars from wind and sun. There's also a sizable storage room on the second floor.

What is the best feature of your home:

There's a canopy at the entrance to shield cars from wind and sun. There's also a sizable storage room on the third floor.
