Not great

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Around the flat there is not much, not a food shop and the closest high street is 15 minute away. But the tube is near by.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I know that the property management was terrible and can’t seem to fix anything properly.

What is the best feature of your home:

Nice size and the ‘winter’ balcony that closes is nice especially in winter. The house is warm which is great in winter but terrible in summer.

Love our flat, but few things to be improved.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Near to tube station, easy travel, but not many shops. Rare alternative parking. Lots of homeless/drug users.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The area is quite dangerous, full with homeless and drug users. Lots of thiefs try to sneak into the building.

What is the best feature of your home:

Closed balcony / winter garden - very useful, and making us use and spend more time on this semi-outdoor space.

Pretty on the surface; trouble beneath

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There are some excellent local options and it’s conveniently located near the Underground. Unfortunately our block did not come with the opportunity to park on the street. The bin collections are regular.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had logged correspondence with Aftersales since the very beginning.

What is the best feature of your home:

The fixings of our bathroom we’re probably our favourite feature

Generally Satisfied

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is very convenient as it is a few minutes walk from the tube stations and generally very well connected to the central, however it is not the most desirable area to live in in terms of safety and services. Very few quality shops and restaurants, no large supermarkets and very minimal parking availability. It’s worth noting that large investments are being made to improve the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had know how bright and warm the unit is most of the year even in London. And I wish I had looked more into the area and how poorly serviced it is.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best aspect of my flat is the incredible sound proofing and thermal insulation. I have gone multiple winters without even having to turn on my heating.

Mostly good!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to tube and buses into London. Super close to parks and a busy bustly high street and only a few stops away from gorgeous London locations like Wembley and West Hampstead. Parking is very limited as it’s a residential area but £1M council investment happening on door step along with new schools being built. A few homeless around like any area, and Brent looks after us well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Definitely visit the property in advance. Scope out travel, parks, shops, so no nasty surprises when you move in. And be prepared for anything and everything.

What is the best feature of your home:

My huge terrace, unobstructed views in quiet location very accessible into London
