I am one of the residents of Millard grange LU5 new build areas .We are happy with property design , facilities and building and property management . We got our owned parking lots which are very convenient as we do not need to find parking spaces like other areas .

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Parking , bin collection - excellent Range of local shops and transport links - need to be improved.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

It takes a couple of days to get response . But they come and fix on schedule date .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My overall experience in buying Millard grange new home is good .

The interiors are top notch. Very well designed and executed. It’s well ventilated and has enough sunlight coming in. The property management have been very prompt with their service. We have no complaints and are very happy with our decision. Thank you countryside properties.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

When we looked at the house, we knew we had found our home. We love the area as well as the development. The landscape is well looked after. We have a lovely view of the woods and it helps us stay connected to nature.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are quick to attend to snags. The customer service is always on top of any complaints and get it sorted quickly and promptly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we had known that there’s goning to be no grocery stores around

That could be my dream home but countryside destroyed everything

The countryside is probably one of the worse developers in this area after 18 months part of the road is still not finished. At the front of my house is a little swampy with stinky water and all my attempts to try find out of when this issue will be solved is ignored by management.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I leave here one and half years and still, there is not even one shop or restaurant a part of one lovely bar and dominos pizza. Maine Park is still not finished.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We still have some issue that needs to be fixed but I will probably pay someone to fix , them before ask them to do it for me because they are not reliable

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Make sure everything is perfect before you move in because a soon as you pay for your property they will stop care of you

Great community and we love living here

Lucy WS (Owner)

I love the overall design of the estate it really feels like a great community and the different designs incorporated make it feel more established. I think the property management could be better - there is a need for more frequent management particularly for the roads and open green spaces. the facilities are great although it took a while for the parks etc to be opened

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Range of shops and restaurants locally is great and the location is great for commuting. The local bus routes seem are lacking slightly there is a bus available to get to main towns but the schedule is not as often as we would like. Our street is great to live on, great community.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have struggled to get minor fixes completed which is a shame.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I'd known about the water works nearby have some smelly days (although thankfully not often at all). I love the community here though the neighbours are all very friendly and I've made loads of friends here.

Beautiful development

Damian (Owner)

We had a few issues with our property at first but resolved very quickly. It is sometimes quite difficult to get through to customer services but anything urgent is resolved quite quickly. The design of our house is beautiful hence why we chose it, very airy and love the kitchen diner.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This new local area is beautiful and has a very nice community feeling, the landscaping is nice to look at and the public transport links are good via bus or the closes station is leagrave. Bin collections are timely and we have a great service that come and clean them too! There’s no traffic on the road we live on hence why we chose it and facing the forest, there’s no road, just the sound of birds! No anti social behaviour but the area is known to have the motor cycle junkies go through it which can be annoying. At present, there’s a lovely coffee shop on the development with amazing food (halal too) and a domino’s. The shops and nursery have been delayed opening but they’re on track. Lovely area, only thing I would say as a negative is the Childrens parks are a bit small.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes all resolved, at the beginning we were sent emails to confirm work had been completed which was reassuring but in the end all was resolved

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish we had known that there was bike track as that noise can be quite annoying
