Our property is beautifully presented inside and out

Our property is beautifully presented inside and out. We benefit from a utility room, an en-suite, white goods, complimentary wifi, a Yale Home doorbell with camera, keyless entry, a shared drive large enough for three cars and a sizeable rear garden with plenty of privacy. The bedrooms are a decent size and the white walls give a light and airy feel throughout. The property management team at Leaf Living have been nothing short of fantastic, particularly during the first few weeks of moving into the property. Our Settings Consultant, Jessica was very helpful in showing us around the property and providing advice when the keys were handed to us. I also had several queries that required attention and at times seemed like I was bombarding them, however our Property Manager Amy handled them all professionally and promptly. It is extremely reassuring to know that the team are in hand to deal with any concerns efficiently and with due care. I would thoroughly recommend Leaf Living to anyone wishing to rent a property.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Our development is in an excellent location, close to the town and local conveniences and rail links but far enough to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the surrounding countryside. Our street is nice and quiet, with minimal traffic passing through and the neighbours are lovely. Of an evening all you can hear are birds singing. The houses have their own drives and there is ample on-street parking. There are a wide range of restaurants to choose from, most of them independent and are very reasonable in price.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I raised several queries and requests for permission to make some minor amendments and all were responded to within a few days. I am confident that any new items will be dealt with in a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lawn and pavement in rear garden slopes down to one side. During periods of rain it allows pooling outside the back door. The lawn has also been poorly laid, in that you can see lines in the grass. It has also grown uneven and is very patchy in places. The developer has advised they will roll and spike the area to improve drainage and growth but this has not yet taken place. The fridge compartment of the fridge freezer is also quite small, however we will look into purchasing an additional shelf as the bottle rack serves no purpose to us. The downstairs WC is quite large, which appears to be at the cost of the lounge. It would have been nice if the WC was made smaller so that the lounge could be wider.
