My development in Ancoats is a modern masterpiece

My development in Ancoats is a modern masterpiece. The design seamlessly blends urban chic with contemporary comforts, creating a stylish and inviting atmosphere. The facilities are top-notch, offering everything from a sleek gym to communal spaces perfect for socializing. Building management ensures everything runs smoothly, with prompt attention to any issues that arise. Property management is efficient, providing residents with peace of mind and a hassle-free living experience. Overall, it's a standout choice for those seeking a sophisticated urban lifestyle in Manchester.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in Ancoats, especially in a flat, offers a dynamic urban lifestyle. Without the need for bin collections, residents can enjoy the simplicity of apartment living. While parking may come at a premium, the vibrant atmosphere and abundance of amenities more than make up for it. Exploring the area on foot is a joy, with the marina nearby providing a picturesque backdrop for leisurely walks. And despite parking fees, the convenience of having a car in the city center adds to the flexibility of getting around.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Promptly and efficiently, addressing concerns with care

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known about the potential noise levels from geese, especially during spring and early mornings.

Living close by a big city center

Olivia M (Tenant)

The design of the apartments is really nice and spacious. The facilities are great - always clean. The concierge staff are always helpful and very friendly. We haven’t had much communication with the building and property management but anytime we have spoken to them it has been fine.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is a very nice area, lots of surrounding outdoor space with bars and restaurants. Good transport links to city center. Car park for the building but lots of free parking spaces in surrounding areas. No traffic noise.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have sent someone in in the past to check our windows for drafts - they were nice but couldn’t do much.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How cold the apartment would be. The heating is not very good either.

Good location, close to local amenities, building design could be better

Having a manned reception desk is very helpful; the development also has a gym and a communal lounge area. Waste disposal chutes and bin rooms are on each floor are also convenient. Unfortunately the U-shaped building design means that flats facing the internal court area/car park receive very little sunlight and blinds are usually kept down for privacy due to flats directly facing each other. Lack of private green space is disappointing

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Convenient location, close to public transport hubs and city centre. Low traffic noise; however, construction noise is problematic with multiple new developments in the immediate vicinity

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Maintenance/repairs and requests are addressed, but could be carried out quicker

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Construction noise was not apparent at the time of viewing

Clean & modern city living

The building is very well kept and staffed by helpful concierges 24 hours a day. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly & efficiently. The building is very secure & the mail room is very well organised. Refuse is available on each floor & is always clean & tidy.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Unparalleled local hospitality, bars, restaurants & cafes are extremely good. There are fewer local shops, but an aldi & small co-op make life easy

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have always received a response within the day for any issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Natural light is hard to come by, so show flats are not always representative of this, and premiums are paid for better locations within the building

Nice new build but management could be slightly better

The design is modern and stylish, with clean lines and contemporary finishes throughout. The open-plan living area felt spacious and inviting, with plenty of natural light and a well-appointed kitchen. In terms of facilities, the flat has everything one could need for comfortable living, including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and ample storage space. The building itself was well-maintained, with a secure entry system and clean communal areas.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ancoats in Manchester has a vibrant atmosphere with great food and drink options, but can be noisy and lack green spaces. Transport links are convenient but parking can be challenging and there can be some issues with anti-social behavior.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The staff were friendly and responsive to any queries or concerns. The property management team also seemed to be on top of things, with regular maintenance checks and prompt attention to any issues that arose.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

the geese nearby can be louder than expecter, new people often are surprised at the noise.
