We did not expect we will love that development so much. We love our house, we love its great design. Soon we will have here railway station what will be very helpful so thats great for communucation. There is only one thing that is missing. We need good and new playground for our kids.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The best place to live in. The place is quiet. Our street is safe, clean. There is parking availability, punctuql bin collections. Our neighborhood is so kind and helpful for everyone. We have few shops near our house, post office and everything we need.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Grass in our garden. After couple of weeks it just looked not nice. It did look like... an old grass and the cheapest one.

What is the best feature of your home:

We love our garden. We have great and spacious living room with big windows. Our living room is always bright.

The house is nicely designed. Countryside was lovely once they got the money for it. After the communication was so bad and nit helpful most of time. Not answering the phone at all. Very bad emailing. If I could take back the time i would choose other developer

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good area Quiet area Amenities close Neighbourhood is quite lovely, people eager to help out. Bad is that we Don't have a playground in the Neighbourhood and there is space where to be build.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That Countryside would be very bad after purchase.

What is the best feature of your home:

The 2nd floor is a whole ensuite room that give lots of privacy if kids around.

Beautiful modern houses with green space and nice extras

I am very happy with the design of my house. The kitchen is my favorite and it offers a lovely bright space with skylights. I did have quite a few snags as expected with a new build but countryside was very good at booking the right people to sort the issues although the wait was pretty long. They used quality suppliers for flooring and tiling and a great choice was available. Although the kitchens were thrown together it seemed with cupboards not level, they did come out to try and resolve the issues. The only change I would make to my property is that Id have an internal door going from the kitchen into the integral garage, rather than having to walk outside to then have to access another door. Due to this the garage floor is also lower than the rest of the build so it would need raising if you were to make this into another room. Most builds, for example, Bellway Homes, would have access from the kitchen. The reason why I chose Countryside is the extras that you got within your deal. It makes such a different to have those add ones, where as other developers charge a fortune. The moving process was so much smoother knowing you had carpets and flooring and a fully fitted kitchen all ready, even a shed and washing line! Now trying to make improvements to the garden space, its difficult to plant shrubs and flowers with the rubble in the ground. The turf hasn't done to well but in comparison to most developers where this is not standard, this is a perk again of countryside properties. Solar panels are on all the house, although I am yet to see any benefit to energy with these even before the price hike The site manager of countryside was very helpful when on site and would go the extra mile to help with any issues before they had finished on the build.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Unfortunately that is one of the most disappointing aspects of the area is that you there are no local shops, however a short drive you can access the main shopping centre of Kirkby. Transport links will be improved soon when the new train station opens but the development has no easy access routes by car to other parts of Kirkby and you have to drive all the way round. Good parking is available as houses each have 2 parking spaces. The street is normally quite but there are some residents on the rented side who like to drive really fast up and down the street and are a danger to those enjoying a walk with dogs or children. There is an area as you drive into Southcroft Drive which is scruffy and the grass is rarely cut. The promise of planting trees has not happened. Bin collections are fine as long as you take your bin in soon after so kids don't run off with it. There is a nice green space at the top of southcroft drive and also round the back you can access the field.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My house backs on to a rented property which I own the fence and the rental business (simplelife homes) ignores requests to paint the fence or allow me to contact the tenant to ask.

What is the best feature of your home:

I would say the kitchen and the skylights. Its a great open and bright space with lovely double doors going out into the garden

Good design and location

Good selection of home designs and the interior layouts are very good The Sandford has an excellent master bedroom and overall the room layout is very logical. Heating in winter is very efficient and it was turned off a lot as the house retains heat well. Overall a good house which appears to have increased in value since purchasing 3 years ago

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good acces to Kirkby and Aintree Shops and plenty of choice for grocery shopping close by. Mostly a car user but looking forward to opening of new railway station in summer 2023 as tge station is very close to Highfield

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Bad drainage garden and this seems to be across the site. This was the only major issue we have experienced and continue to have problems with

What is the best feature of your home:

We like the master bedroom which swung us towards tge Sandford and having a south facing garden was a real bonus

The design of our house is perfect, with a snug little living room for those cosy nights. A big, open plan kitchen with 3 skylights to let plenty of light in and a big garden perfect for hosting family events in the summer. The building and property management were all spot on never had any issues and site manager was always close by ensuring everything was okay.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Plenty of parks nearby which is great for kids and dog walkers, brand new train station just across the road due to open any time soon and a big Morrisons not even a 5 minute drive away, perfect location.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I don’t think there is anything I wish I had known before we moved in, everything was portrayed to us perfectly so knew exactly what we was paying for.

What is the best feature of your home:

My favourite feature of home has to be the skylights in our open plan kitchen
