Great place to live

Overall Redrow have been very good. There were a few snagging issues at the start but were all sorted (with the occasional nudge!) We love our home and we're so glad we chose to buy here. Only downside is it's a 10 minute drive to the supermarkets and very limited restaurant options nearby, but we love the safe, community feel and green space.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Safe, family-friendly area with lots of green space, community feel and close to the metrobus and M32 for quick journeys into Bristol.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Because the development is ongoing, fine red dust settles on windowsills etc. It's not terrible, but is a little annoying.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

It would be great to be a bit closer to some shops.

Frenchay - a family friendly place to live.

Great transport links, close to all amenities, motorway access, ring road - doctors, restaurants all close by. Unfortunately some elements of the finish weren’t brilliant but were rectified later on by local housing association. Could definitely do with another school in the area as catchment is very strict and already over subscribed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely area, quiet, very family friendly also great for being near to university and local hospital. Great community feel.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Would have liked to have known I would be next to large empty unsecured land for a long period of time, with low security measures also it’s not particularly aesthetically pleasing either. However overall I’m really happy in my home.

Great area and nicely built. Flats are well put together and space is utilised well. The worksite itself is continuing quickly and efficiently which is nice to see and i look forward to when it is built completely. Redrow very helpful in all instances.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like the walks and the surrounding area. The only downside is no shop in the area but this may change! More building to happen.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Council tax and bills may take a while. This was only because im so new to this.

What is the best feature of your home:

The space that the flat has, given that it is only a 1 bed.

Lovely location

Our home is lovely, great size and well planned out. There's lots of parks and green/recreational areas. Design is lovely and good spacing of homes and gardens. Facilities are currently poor however with shops a fair distance a way and only one pub and harvester restaurant. Hopefully this will improve.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Pros: Great location, friendly sense of community, lovely village, Cons: Not enough amenities shops/pubs etc..

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

When roads would be surfaced and that there would be double yellow lines on the road (where I don't really see the need for them).

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Always nice to have something a bit bigger but overall i'm very happy.

Beautiful green spaces and a well placed location!

The development has mixed both modern and traditional builds however our personal taste we much prefer the look of the traditional properties and don't feel that the mix is blended particularly well. The development has been well planned in terms of layout which has allowed for areas of green space and several children's playgrounds and outdoor gym areas. We haven't required much in the way of support or input from the property management however, they have been quick and efficient to respond when we have contacted them. We also could not fault them during the process of the initial purchase of our property.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are surrounded by lots of lovely, green space, both in walking distance and short drive. The area is close to the motorway and close to the centre of Bristol which makes commuting quick and accessible. The only real negative of the area is a lack of local shops or cafes/restaurants that are in walking distance however there are some plenty of shops and restaurants in surrounding localities.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A better understanding of the continued building of the development. Although the expansion of the development has little impact on our day to day lives the continuous changing of road closures and access to surrounding parks can be frustrating.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Improved soundproofing of adjoining houses as we are semi detached and often can hear our neighbours, who are not particularly loud.
