Terrible Building Management, Great Location

The building management team are an absolute shambles, the lift breaks about 3 times a month, we've had issues in our apartment we've been trying to get fixed for about 3 years that have had at least 10 different handy men out to look at which still haven't been fixed - broken door handles, broken fitted bin, leaks in the roof, etc. It's a great location but the management of the building is one of the most shoddy, poorly run operations I've ever encountered in my life, genuinely shocked that a lot of these people have jobs it's mental.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, nice generally well-built apartments, and really well insulated which is great in the winter.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I'd known that if anything broke in the apartment it would be nearly impossible to get it fixed

What is the best feature of your home:

The location of the development is amazing, walking distance to angel and shoredtich and well connected to get anywhere in london

Unfortunately the building management isn’t up to scratch there isn’t any planting done in the three years that I’ve been here or any upkeep to the landscape of the property we don’t ever get any feedback from the property management team and they haven’t yet fulfilled any of the promises they made since we moved in

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location right on the Canal access to bars shops and restaurants.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I’ve been waiting over a year for response From the property management team

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I feel there wasn’t clarity on the parking and that I was lied to with regards to it also I don’t believe the security of the property is as promised

Roof terrace is lovely. The flat is not well designed/layout is poor with no Sunlight into the flat. Residents in the building do not look after communal areas and the bins are shocking. No parking (unless you have one in the buildings car park). Flat is very hot with poor ventilation.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location very central.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Poor ventilation and no sunlight

Great facilities , community and interior design is great just bad landlord service

The building is a lovely design with great facilities, design and decor. The problem is complaints about broken or in disrepair fixtures of the building like lifts, bin storage room, door and parcel room theft are not repaired on time. We wish it could all be resolved quickly but it’s a pain. But overall it is still good value for money and the interior is quality.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I obviously dislike the fact that so many building fixtures and facilities get broken down with no quick repair and the theft of parcels but I love the area of town and feel there are enough shops and restaurants. My one major complaint is I wish there were more 24 hour open shops here for late night convenience purchases or a neater late night corner shop.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I don’t have many regrets. It is good value for money and quality except for the landlord problems.
