It would be nice for there to be more shared facilities on site such as a field or park.

It would be nice for there to be more shared facilities on site such as a field or park. I do love the design of our house but it would have been nice to decide which colour house/door we would like instead of being told as I personally would have preferred another colour. There are some issues in our home that has taken quite a while to fix which could have been down to coronavirus, however over a year later and we’re still waiting on some things despite having emailed

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good is that it’s in a prime location to be able to easily access exeter and Plymouth for work purposes. It’s also not far from the beach or countryside. In terms of the downfall there are not as many shops in the town as Id like which means we have to travel a bit of a distance to go shopping. The food and pubs here are excellent and there’s plenty of open space which was amazing during lockdown to go on walks

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How noisy the building work would be as it can be quite disruptive when working from home. Also just how sloped our garden would be as it’s not ideal

What is the best feature of your home:

Honestly the overall design of the plot is very aesthetically pleasing and it makes the area look neat and tidy. With our own personal home it would have to be the layout

A good quality location

The design of the house is great but the sound proofing is very poor . We can hear everything from next door. At the beginning the management was great and had no problems with the house ever since. I do feel like the pond was neglected but we have just been through a pandemic

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of church walk is good.. not far from town or the moors.. but its very disappointing that there is no path that is safe to walk unless you walk for along time. My sons school is with throwing distance but would have to walk along a .busy road. The development should have thought about this and done a path out of the estate

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking is very poor

What is the best feature of your home:

Utilty room is a great feature and hallway. I dont think a downstairs toilet is needed.. a storage space would have been better

Great quality home

Personally I can’t fault the design or build of the house and thankfully have had no issues regarding my property apart from the garden, the lawn is poor, infestation of leather jackets which has caused the grass to be patchy and muddy. I have tried several lawn seeds but this has been inspected by the relevant professionals. Apart from this I think it’s been built well and designed well.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is a wide range of local shops, restaurants and open spaces near by, I feel like we could benefit from a small convenience store on site for those limited with travel etc. The area has transport links just outside of the estate which is convenient. Living on my street is very friendly and quiet, very good neighbours and all look out for eachother. Bins are always collected on time and left appropriately. I live on the main road and traffic is sometimes quite loud but wouldn’t say overly disturbing, I’m used too it now. Since living here there has been no anti social behaviour problems. Parking is very limited on site especially for visitors so could benefit from a few more spaces however I appreciate space is limited. I enjoy living here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Better quality broadband providers would be beneficial but not essential.

a lovely new build block of housing assocation flats ,i am disabled ,unemployed back in 2018 i suffered an infarct stroke,i have limited walking abilities ,seriously obese now through the lack of physicallity i have real trouble with stairs and trying to walk up hills but Pipistrelle road looks steep but surprising level, the flat it self is a one bedroom modern built one size??? no idea?kitchen and living room all in one, nice sized bathroom with bath and attached shower and hallway and cupboard for internet fibre broadband.the internet companies are limited to 6 expensive providers thou, bit of a captive audience on price ,theres no Virgin,Talk Talk,Sky,or the like in THIS AREA YET,just 6 providers ive never heard of before,i picked VFAST as my brother in law recommed me if im general pc browsing and watching video streams go for a bit faster than standard internet.so i did but its £29 a month,it would be nice eventually to have some more choices in picking a future provider some of the above i mentioned earlier as u see the prices tumble in their special offers but yours is stagnant.also the only two other gripes i have there is no play park for the local kids who play out in the road so u have to be aware with two sets of eyes wen driving in and out of your drive way cos they kids dont bother looking.the other gripe is there is no community garden to sit on a park bench and watch the world go by.apart from those gripes i love living here and trying my best to be independant and try and enjoy what little time left i have on gods green earth

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

just under 1 mile away u have asda supermarket and newton abbot town centre, also dyrons leisure centre ,at least 3 schools near there to my knowledge!,i live in a ground floor flat just off the serotine road, called pipistrelle road, which has the main road leading to trago mills, stover golf course and the south bound A38 to Plymouth.over the road from my living room window there is the slip road that takes u to teigngrace which u have the local nature reserve, the river Teign,a level crossing still there from wen granite was mined up on Dartmoor back many moons ago?? and the road leads to my hometown of Kingsteignton (once the Largest village in the UK aparently, before they turned it into a town or so i once red in a study??)

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

a bigger postbox inside the building would of been a better idea, not put outside

2 bedroom house review.

The interior design is perfect for my small family of three. I live in a 2 bedroom house, the house has a downstairs toilet as well as upstairs which is great amenities. Amazing cupboard space in the kitchen area, included with a larder cupboard. Garden is small but big enough to enjoy with a shed included also. After a year of living in the property; linden came out and touched up any missed work and ensured the standards were satisfactory.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Home is very central to access local shops, dual carriageway, schools and walks. Bus stop outside. Great location.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Leather jackets in the garden are a pest but landlord is working towards fixing the problem as a community.
