A standout feature of this development is its commitment to maintaining cleanliness. The common hallways are cleaned daily by dedicated staff, ensuring that the environment remains hygienic and pleasant for all residents. This level of upkeep extends to the outdoor areas as well, which are well-maintained and add to the development's overall charm. The building and property management teams deserve special mention for their efficient and friendly service. They are always accessible and responsive to residents' needs, contributing significantly to the sense of community here. The management’s initiative to organize events during festive seasons fosters a friendly atmosphere and enables residents to connect and create a tight-knit community. Furthermore, the occasional offering of complimentary snacks adds a delightful touch, making residents feel truly at home and cared for.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area offers a blend of convenience and vibrant community life. The presence of a large Asda supermarket and a 24-hour convenience store ensures that daily essentials and groceries are readily available, making shopping for necessities quite easy and convenient. Additionally, the area boasts a selection of restaurants that offer a variety of delicious meals, catering to different tastes and preferences, which enhances the dining out experience. The proximity to the university campus is a significant advantage for students and academic staff, providing easy access to educational resources and facilities. The library across the street is a valuable resource for residents, offering a quiet place for study and a wide range of literature and materials. The nearby football field adds a recreational option, encouraging outdoor activities and community engagement.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Before moving into this development, I wish I had known about the incredible sense of community and the various initiatives that the building management undertakes to enhance resident experiences. While a typical viewing might give you an idea about the physical aspects of the apartment, such as its design, facilities, and cleanliness, it's the intangible qualities that truly make living here special.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of my home is its large, south-facing windows that not only flood the living space with natural light throughout the day but also offer a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. This architectural choice not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the interior but also significantly contributes to a positive, uplifting atmosphere within the home. The abundance of sunlight not only saves on lighting during the day but also has a profound effect on well-being, making the space feel more open, airy, and welcoming.

The gym of the building is small and lacks necessary equipment - only has a dumbbell rack. Management is always quick, friendly and helpful and organize a number of events throughout the year. Common room and kitchen are always clean, not always enough space in the study area.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Not much choice of local shops, location is well connected with the city's bus network. Bins are operated by the building, so always available.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My apartment has large windows which offer great views, but get extremely hot during spring/summer with no ventilation measures (lack of openable windows)

What is the best feature of your home:

The apartment is quite spacious with adequate kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Reviewing Burlington Square Property.

I would rate it between 6-6.5 due to the above mentioned bad aspects. I think the property has potential to improve, if they set better management team who could follow up with queries and make better contacts with residents and outside suppliers for issues reported.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I have been residing in Burlington Square for the past 3 years and a half (since 2021), and I think I can fairly put a good judgment of the property and the team for now. First, the team are slow in reported issues as they hardly get back with no consistent follow-up. First year, I had a window incident, which took about 6 months to fix it and it was a high-risk broken entire window from lightening. Also, there is always been the issue of pedestrian walk right outside the property, which I also reported earlier (a year ago). As when you step on the bricks, when it rains you constituently get splashed. These small things, I think add up to the overall image I think about when recommending someone to the property. Somehow could be also demotivating at certain times, as they are the way the management is looking after you as a resident. Also, another bad point I want to mention is the lack of windows in the property, it has caused me allergy, and I think having no window (in my case not even in my room), is a big concern for the health of individuals over the long-term. Apart from this, location is good, and the infrastructure is good enough for property.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lack of windows will cause future health issues for my end.

What is the best feature of your home:

location and view is great! These two things were a priority for me that I did not find in other local properties.

Beautiful building, lovely communal area, the receptionists are wonderful, friendly and helpful, love the ability to contact reception 24/7 via WhatsApp. I think the gym facilities are very limited however and it really needs heavier kettlebells, barbells, cable machine & a pull up bar/dip station.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, bus round the corner very useful some parking availability but I think the private parking offer is too expensive.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Beautifully designed gym but very limited facilities, doesn’t have barbells, cable machine or any pull up bar.

What is the best feature of your home:

Layout of the flat is brilliant and the receptionists are great!
