we like the development itself with the style and layout nicely done.

Again, we like the development itself with the style and layout nicely done. Facilities within the development don't amount to much, but did not either expect or want them to be fair. Our only issue has been with the build quality and subsequent approach to resolving issues - like Bovis are doing us a favour! We did not expect this many snags from a 5 star builder!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We love living here. It is a beautiful part of the country and it is peaceful. The town can get busy due to tourist appeal in the warmer months and sitting on top of where two major trunk roads intersect it can also get busy. We have yet to find lots do but haven't really looked! There a plenty of pubs and places to eat, but if you want chains and lots of fast food you are in the wrong place.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how many snags we would have to contend with and some of the major areas that were not right. Might not have changed our decision to buy, but would perhaps have altered our approach to dealing with them.

What is the best feature of your home:

I suppose this is where it is located. It is on a lovely development close to the town (walking distance) and situated in a lovely part of the country.

Pros - landscape management is great, thats been done well! roads are clean Kids park is nice (but not made for kids under 4) All houses are equiped with Fiber to the premissis for internet Cons - The scenic walk way that was promised is non existant and does not look to be in anyway started. The design of the road network in the development is not well thought out. roads are of odd size. The footpaths come to odd endings with no clear crossings. or unsatisfactory crossings. Drainage of gardens is terrible... there is none, they are all swamps.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The Town - Pros - Its beautiful, quiet, nicely setup for short trips out and for little walks, Restaurants are good! 3 indian restaurants. enough child care options, school Cons- HV Charging for cars non existant, famous market is low quality, No NHS dentist, NHS hospital is not equiped for emergencies with children(closest is 35 mins to banbury), trainline is ok, but not a major train line at all. Very expensive Council tax for not alot back. Large scale dispute around £16K for the kids play park which they shall not pay, but they have closed the park. The area - Lots of walks, really quiet and nice to live in Roads are brutal :) , surrounding towns are amazing and lovely to take trips too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i had paid a little extra for a snagging professional. this would have been a great place to begin as they know SO much more. Its better to get this done than someone pull you up when you go to sell.

What is the best feature of your home:

The outside stone that the house is built from, this is the best part of my house... And our neighbours are lovely.
