Overall design of the development is excellent. Lots of open space, walks and fields right next door. Management team are still on site as still building and the ground maintenance seems to be going well, with the open spaces well looked after. No expense has been spared with the planting of trees and shrubs! Great views across to Cannock Chase as you drive off the development, giving a lovely rural feel.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Penkridge is a lovely location with good access to M6 and great train services south to Wolverhampton and Birmingham and north to stafford, Manchester, Liverpool, Chester and beyond. Traffic noise from the M6 fluctuates depending on the way the wind blows! We lack a big supermarket in Penkridge, need an Aldi or Tesco as there are only two small co-op stores, which are very expensive.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We have a utility area - we expected to have a washing machine and tumble dryer in there. However there is only space for a washing machine. Hoped to stack them in worst case, but the boiler is in the way, so the utility area is just a washing machine.

What is the best feature of your home:

Overall design, inside and out. South facing garden.

Excellent build home, very spacious and well designed layout of the 3 storey home upstairs. I would consider slightly changing the layout downstairs so you don't have to access the kitchen/ dining area through the lounge. Overall development very well laid out.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent facilities in the local area, shops, pubs, transport links and open spaces. Generally parking is not a problem living on an end plot.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

With the increased cost of living, the boiler and efficiency of the house was a pleasant surprise.

What is the best feature of your home:

Efficient insulation throughout the home especially in the winter.

The design of my house met my needs and requirements. The build and management of my property met my expectations. Any queries and issues from the purchase process to moving in and living thereafter have been dealt with swiftly and effectively. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I moved from another part of the local area so already aware of what the location could offer. On that basis I was happy to move 1 mile to the development.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I’d have liked to have had more information regarding broadband supply short term and long term

What is the best feature of your home:

There is not 1 specific best feature. I’m happy with all aspects of my home.

The development itself is lovely, houses are going up all the time and it’s really starting to have a community feel to it now more families have moved in, I’m looking forward to seeing it finished with the outside walking areas being fully open to walk the dogs etc.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is my first home and I don’t think I could have asked for a better location, easy access to the motorway, Penkridge itself is lovely, Jaspers bakery say no more. There’s loads of pubs, railway station is a 10 minute walk.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The only thing I’d mention is the train can be quite loud at times if you’re in the garden but this last 20 seconds so isn’t really a problem

What is the best feature of your home:

The rooms are really spacious, and the kitchen is perfect lots of storage space

Overall we are really pleased with the design of our house. We have an exceptional plot on a private road where we over look meadow green. The main issue we had with the design of the interior of the property was with the utility area. The utility area is a couple of inches too narrow to fit a standard washing and drying machine resulting with us having to purchase a washer dryer with no where alternative in our opinions to put a tumble dryer.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living so close to the centre of Penkridge offers a huge range of advantages. The development is a 15 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk from a wide range of local shops. We have not witnessed any anti social behaviour. There is a small noise from the train line and traffic can sometimes be heavy when there are issues with the motorway.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Experience the local area before purchasing in order to get a feel for what would be your new home to see if it is the right fit for you.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of our home is that we are on a private road where we are not overlooked by any other houses but a bank of meadow flowers.
