The building location and design is fine however the support and anything past 2weeks of moving is is shocking and just a thought.

The building location and design is fine however the support and anything past 2weeks of moving is is shocking and just a thought. They still have not paid any grass down and so we have a large lake of mud Infront of our house. Very nice as a view when it was promised as a floral site

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's minutes away from the train station, the location is perfect for a couple that can work up and down the M4. However ground works look very unfinished and no word as to if it is going to be finished in future. Especially with the tennet fee we are paying to keep it looking nice

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

External added extras like a pig socket or extra ethernet ports

What is the best feature of your home:

I love the heat retention, great for saving money.

It's fine but there's a lot to improve

Becky A (Owner)

The design of our area is nice but it's very different designs between the different developers so it creates a very different look from street to street. It could be more cohesive across the development. I am disappointed in the play park area that has been build. There are a lot of toddlers and babies on the development but the park is clearly for older children as the equipment is too big and advanced

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Our street is nice, we face onto a main road but the noise is not too loud. We have 2 private parking spaces. The only thing I dislike is the drainage address at the end of our street which is a disgusting eyesore. I huge muddy, water filled pit where rubbish is blown in and never retrieved. It's dangerous for children as there is no barrier around it and the edges are so steep. We were told it was supposed to be a green area, it is not.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The industrial site across the road is noisier at night

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Built in wardrobe in a better position in the main bedroom, it is a half height wardrobe which is not very functional

The design of our house was perfect for our little family, spacious with a small garden at the back. Spaces on our drive for 2 cars to park, a spacious kitchen & living area. The build was finished off fantastically.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The town of Chippenham is a fantastic place to live, a fab range of shops & restaurants to eat out. It’s a short walk down to town from birds marsh view, roughly around 15 minutes, you can also walk to your local aldi & bnm stores. There is also a bus route to take the bus down town, a 2 minute walk away from birds marsh view. Another short walk is down to the fantastic park John Coles, a beautiful scenic park with trees, a massive field for dogs & a play park for young children. The residents of birds marsh view are really friendly, we have made some great friends! Bins are always emptied on time, there’s hardly any traffic noise & none anti social behaviour.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lack of sun in the garden

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

More storage space e.g cupboards. Position of the garden to have access to more sun.

Pleasant estate and very little to complain about

The design of the estate aesthetically is very good. The houses are well laid out, very well spaced and nice to look at. The facilities on the estate are yet to be finished. There is a nice park in front of our house, however it has been behind a locked fence for approximately twelve months and we still unsure of when it will be finished. In regards to building and property management, most issues we have had with our house have been resolved. They are easy to contact however sometimes it can take a while for an issue to be resolved. For example it took around 3 weeks for a replacement part for our shower to arrive.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location of the development is excellent. It sits right on the edge of town, with green fields and countryside in one direction and the town centre five minutes in the other. The transport links are yet to be active, the estate has spaces for bus stops but currently there are none. The parking is good, each house gets two spaces and most people do use these, some residents will road park in certain spots which can make access difficult. There is very little anti social behaviour and the estate is very quiet. There is very little traffic noise. Most residents are very friendly and it's a pleasant place to live.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The length of time it would take for the estate to be completed.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature is the layout, a large reception room downstairs and light and spacious kitchen.

Great first home

Emma W (Owner)

The estate is lovely and well maintained. However we live opposite a playground which after 2 years still isn’t complete and still makes our part of the estate look like a building site. The design of the house is good and we hear no noise from next door or other homes.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Plenty of open spaces and fields for nice walks. Close to the motorway and a 5 minute walk from the train station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yea they always respond in a timely manner and all issues have been rectified quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how long it takes for the estate to actually be completed. We are here 2 years and it still feels incomplete.
