Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The estate is close to good local shops, health centre, dentist, optician etc… It is close to a recreation field which is adjacent to a community woodland. There’s easy access to road links to a nearby big town. It’s a quiet friendly neighbourhood.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
We didn’t know that we would be able to hear the dual carriageway, even though it’s quite a distance away.
What is the best feature of your home:
Wide open corridors, well proportioned rooms, en suites, large garden.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
It’s pleasant living here all facilities are in the village just a half mile away also a Sainsburys store, living here is good our street is all elderly people like ourselves and it’s a pleasant change this day and age to find so many bungalows being built. And snapped up by elderly people, the demand is good, one snag that needs addressing is pillar boxes, but assuming this is down to the Post Office but all the elderly people drive cars to the post office in the village, could do with 3 on a site this big as it causes congestion in the village and not helping climate change Xmas was hectic with cards

My only complaint would be and is the fence on the super stone garden wall put there for privacy from the properties built at the back of us is not fit for purpose I believe it is Hazel or Willow but the wood is already rotted and just snaps. We are waiting for fencing people to call and see. So in hand as they say
What is the best feature of your home:
The best feature for us has been the open plan design lounge, dining area and kitchen all South Facing making it warm and comfortable

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
the local area is well served with good transport links to Barnstaple and surrounding area, even Exeter and London are served by regular buses. Lovely tea shops and twice weekly pannier market. It is a delight not to have to walk around cars parked on pavements as there is plenty of space for residents. Very little traffic noise and no anti social behaviour.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I would have liked to know more about the outside area at the back, It was too late once I realised my neighbours garage was in my garden and I had insufficient side access to my garden. This is a bug bear, especially as my neighbour has 2 large side areas which seem to suggest a mistake was made on my property.
What is the best feature of your home:
The room sizes and storage suit me well. The downstairs layout flows well and I love the big bay window in the lounge

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
We have a beautiful view from our house. People are very friendly but there needs to be a bigger supermarket and a decent pub and restaurant. Our area where we live is great although some areas of south molton need a good tidy up there is also a problem with owners not cleaning up after their dogs. The rec and community woodland is great for a walk
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
It can get quite windy as we are on a hill wish we had selected a higher standard of kitchen
