Don’t be fooled by representatives from SoResi, you’ll never see them again once sale has gone through. They are owned by Metropolitan Thames Valley, who do not respond to maintenance requests, no transparency on service charges and awful building manager

Love the location and apartments are well built and designed. However constant issues with a sewage smell throughout the building, main entry door has never worked and lift out of order for long periods

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

No, lied to constantly about repairs, serious issue with sewage system has never been addressed and main front door has not worked properly since first fitted

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That MTVH were the worst housing association provider in the country and do not care about their tenants. Rent will rise with CPI and service charges are uncontrolled

Love it but flawed

We love our flat and have no regrets buying but it’s not perfect. Appliances are new but bottom of the range and fridge is tiny. Cabinet doors are starting to sag. Bathrooms ugly with no storage and hard to keep clean. On the plus side, it is very quiet, spacious and full of light. The hard floors are lovely and doors etc are of good quality. Soundproofing is amazing. We feel very safe and secure in the building and surrounding area.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to shops, parks and restaurants. Still more convenient to go to Ealing Broadway for travel as only 4 trains an hour from West Ealing. Views from roof garden are spectacular.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Pretty terribly. Scaffolding appeared outside our bedrooms just before we moved in and it took several phone calls and 3 emails over a week to get a reply from MTVH. I sent an email regarding a malfunctioning fire alarm a couple of months ago and haven’t had a response. They have let the planting in the amenity area and on the roof garden die in the heatwave. The cleaner for the shared areas is excellent and friendly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The Elizabeth Line (in its current state) isn’t much good for West Ealing. What exactly our service charges are being used for because all the landscaping has been neglected all summer.

Basic range of facilities with simple design but so far good quality. We have had our issues addressed although some of them take longer to be resolved. The rooftop is a great place to relax so definitely a plus.

Good flat, very spacious, modern look, so far no major issues with the management most of the queries get answered promptly. Property has a beautiful roof garden that offers a great overview of the city, very happy to be able to visit the garden area and enjoy the sunsets

Really good surrounding area, variety of shops and good connection to city centre

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Most of the issues got addressed fairly quickly with quick turnaround, some defects have been deferred until the end of the warranty period, whilst some are still going through the review as it might be deemed as design rather than a defect, but people are generally friendly and willing to help

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Personally I would highly recommend sticking with the same solicitor for both sale and the purchase to allow to fast track the process

the flats are very well finished with a modern and pleasant design; good facilities; it has a hotel like feel love the rooftop garden on top of the building, property management is average but overall we are very pleased with what we receive for the money invested

Really pleased with the location, very convenient and quiet at the same time;

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have had some issues with the front door which hasn't been managed well and with the fire alarm

Sometimes there are annoying noises coming from the street late evening when young people drink on the bench in front of the building
