A harsh and brutal way to live with improper management and bad dealing

Don’t believe what shared ownership buyers say - they want to protect their investment value. This is a badly designed estate - no consideration for quality of life. Zero facilities, no tenants assoc, no community room. Negligent & zero management

But overall the block of Saxon Court itself has been year on year a disappointment down to non existent management. The only time I heard from them was recently offering my family with disabilities support but this was cruelly withdrawn with no explanation after a very humiliating and confusing conversation whereby I was asked how grateful I was going to be. My side of the block houses majority of families with disabilities. Yet we were given no choice or compensation for the unprecedented dust, noise, lack of privacy from surrounding monolithic building developments. Since moving in the area has become overdeveloped with no thoughts to the mental and medical health impact on inhabitants. I feel our vulnerability has been taken advantage of. If you complain then the landlords respond by withdrawing all communications even when the building is in a state of extreme dilapidation from building faults left by Coriolian the original constructors. I’ve known people here developed health conditions but there was no investigation or visible attempts to meaningful help or manage families or the property. It’s shocking that in this day and age so little regard is given to human rights. Less shocking that under a Conservative and corporate government - money comes before everything and anyone else. Humans were not supposed to exist under these conditions. But it’s hard to be heard when your own landlord won’t even fix my child’s bedroom window . To top it all there is a night club that means anti social behaviour and load crowds up and down York Way in the night but if you try to complain you are silenced. I’m guessing the trade brings money into the area in whatever way it chooses.

Excellent Morden buildings. The design fit well with Morden standards. In terms of Property management, I think it would be good for Housing Management Teams to constantly check with residents on current needs and give appropriate advice in terms of new legislation.

Design and build quality are very good. Doors are thick and strong, appliances are a high spec etc. The development is also located in a very convenient sub-urban place with town very close by without the negatives of living in a town centre. Building management has been good, with fixes and teething issues of this new build being tended to quickly in my own experience and on hand support only an email or phone call away. Development has not had grass cut as frequently as I would like, with it becoming overgrown at one stage in my short time here so far, and windows have not yet been cleaned on the outside. Overall I am satisfied and would recommend this development. The community in the rest of the block are very nice too.

The development's design is very basic. We are thankful though that it offers a lift despite being only 3 floors high. The allocated parking space - 1 per unit is also excellent, as we do not have to look for parking outside. There is basically no facilities other than the lift and parking. There is a little garden at the back which is too small for any activity.. except just to take a 1 minute stroll. No gym. The building management has not been very responsive. The building manager has not been seen at all, other than her picture being on the notice board saying that she is the building manager. The grass was not cut for several months and it grew to about knee length - they said it is covid-related at the gardener lost some of the workers and could not complete the job. The building's fixtures in the units are decent however there are some funny things such as a doorbell - but no mailman can come up the lift without a fob. There is a dishwasher switch in the kitchen but no dishwasher. The units would have been better with more storage space.
