A good location of property

The property is located in the heart of the Bolton city centre. everything is within easy reach of the property. Famous places like Bolton market and the new Market food hall is within easy reach of the property. Also many supermarkets around and within reach of this location.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The property is managed very good before but recently lack of focus on what to be done, like trimming of grass and up keeping of tidiness of car park.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The respond my the management is a lot slower now then before

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Need to photograph the condition of the property down.

The building is great, as the amenities are all brand new and the design is quite beautiful. The facilities are always available and clean (except for some appliances in the communal kitchen, but I honestly blame that more on the tenants than on the admins), the gym is fully equipped, common areas are comfortable and clean, great to hang around with friends or visitors. The admins in the building have all been really helpful, always happy to help and really friendly. I have also enjoyed the activities they have put together from time to time (although less frequently now, hopefully they'll come back) such as breakfasts, sip and paint sessions, pasta making classes, etc. Also the staff from property management have always been attentive and responsive.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is a great location, as EVERYTHING is close by, not only shops and restaurants, but also places of touristic interest, such as museums, the docks, pier, important buildings and squares. The transport links are great too, as the Mersey rail station is just in front of the building, and the bus stops are also less than a hundred steps away from the front door. Since it is downtown, one of the down sides to it is that many homeless people will hang around drunk, or set up tents. It's never insecure, though, as they are not violent, but sometimes there will be a lot of litter around.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have always responded promptly through the correct channels of communication, and when a repair is needed, they have always shown up with a solution.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known the amoung of sunlight could come in to the apartment, and how the weather affected it. Also, that there would be ongoing development at the building next door, which caused a lot of noise for about 5 months, but that is over now, it was just a temporary inconvenience.

Amazing property for single worker

facilities could be better - there’s a washer drier in the property but I find that those machines don’t dry correctly. The bathroom was stunning, no window but had a vent. Property management was amazing, there was someone at the property regularly to sort anything out urgently. It did cost £70 to replace my key when that was lost which I wish I’d paid more attention to at the time (£50 for the replacement key and £20 call out fee as the contractor had left for the day)

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

bins are around back with collection once a week, they regularly clean the bin area. There’s space around back at the car park where you can also dog walk and there’s a picnic area. good selection of supermarkets local from aldi to b&m

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Have had issues with a leak and they came same day. So long as there’s someone at the property they’ll get it sorted asap - also incredibly responsive to emails.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The local area - there were hidden gems all over I wish I’d discovered earlier. The local businesses were amazing and there’s a lot of activities/festivals in the city centre.

Location is amazing

A year ago I wrote a review, stating that we had had several incidents with the building concerning the alarms, which had gone off several times for no reason. Now everything seems to be fine. Although its price may be a bit high, it has included several amenities, such as cinema, kitchens, living rooms, gym and terrace. And it is fully furnished.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We are going on two years living here, and we still think the location is amazing, it's across the street from an underground stop and it's connected to the train station. And it's an average of 8 minutes walk to anywhere in the centre, shopping centre, cinema, restaurants, shops,

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have only asked for help to solve maintenance problems and they have been quick, in our case it has been fault problems that have not been generated by us and they have solved them without us having to pay anything extra.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We were not shown more options and it was explained to us if at some point of the year, there was a possibility of sunlight coming in. Especially for us who did not know the city and did not know the sun's orientation.

building management was really good - anything you need fixed they’ll get it sorted. always have someone on site to help. It’s very expensive if you lose your key (£75 for replacement) so wouldn’t suggest that. No parking for visitors, only tenant parking which supposedly is £35 a month. If you have visitors they’ll need to park somewhere else as they don’t share the code for access as car parks are assigned. They host an array of events on the property too (in the back seating area) - offered free food too.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Right in the town centre - good transport links with the station being under 10 mins away. Sometimes can hear the local pubs going off on Fri/Sat/during main football games but not too disruptive.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, they replied very quickly and would get it sorted. The marks on the wall when I left did cost me £50 so the place is a little expensive but worth it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How expensive the maintenance of the apartment would be - with council tax, gas is also extremely expensive so would suggest checking different providers.
