Heron Corporation Reviews “The apartment is a new build which is nice and it is well maintained. It has a air con which is great, especially during hotter days. It has a modern design however it’s not very spacious. The concierge are great – they help out with a lot of things like keeping parcels, and changing the flowers inside as well as parking your car for you. I chose this development because it’s a new build with a 24 hour concierge. The concierge are so helpful!” - Anonymous, a verified resident at The Heron, EC2Y You can read more about Heron Corporation’s developments by clicking on the properties linked below to read what residents have to say about living there. The apartment is not designed for living. Closets take a significant space in the rooms and provide very little storage. Outlets are poorly located. Lighting and audio controls are dated. The curtains take significant space away from the unit. Management is inconsistent. The lounge is dated. Any changes to the AV controls or unit require specialist contractors. The management harasses us about furniture viewable from the street. The concierge staff is excellent but there's a lot of churn. Service is inconsistent during nights and weekends. The staff does nothing to stop noise, smells and anti-social behavior from neighbors.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location for working professionals. Dead during the weekends. Inconvenient for families.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Smells come through the floors and ventilation, so you can smell smoke, incense and Marijuana.

What is the best feature of your home:

The view is excellent. If you work nearby it's highly convenient.

We have lived in the development for over four years , the development has a friendly concierge service , owners club house with bar , cinema room , meeting rooms lounge and outdoor rooftop garden . The development is well maintained. Our unit is modern, SW facing with awesome views across the Barbican , St Paul’s and London skyline. The facilities are first class.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

EC2 has Clerkenwell Smithfield’s and Spitalfield markets on its doorstep, the area has great character and the city at the weekend expire our expectation is fascinating to walk .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Management Fees and charges are pricy as expected with the facilities provided , watch out for assertive and quick to engage lawyers on late payments.

The apartment is quite expensive to live in to be honest as the rent is high. However the concierge here are excellent as they’re really helpful with holding parcels for us and even opening the door and say good morning whenever we leave. Whenever we do have a food delivery one of the concierge people go with the delivery driver to my place so I generally feel very safe and secure. I don’t really like the design of my place to be honest. There is a choice of having black designed rooms or white ones, and having the black one isn’t also great because it tends to feel really dark inside. The white ones are more bright and preferable. Also the black floors tend to look dirtier quicker. The facilities in the building are great as there’s a sofa in the lift as well as a mirror, so it feels really fancy! There is a gym available with 24 hr access and a lovely lounge which offer drinks, which is nice especially when doing work. The building management are really good - whenever I need a repair they’re very prompt to respond.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The apartments location is very convenient with plenty of Uber’s and taxi’s being in the area. There’s a Tesco and M&S close by aswell. I feel at ease living in the neighbourhood as its mainly just people working around the area. There are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants situated close by so there’s always something to do.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are really good - whenever I need a repair they’re very prompt to respond.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That some of the rooms have a black based design and others are white. The white ones are more in demand so it’s harder to get.

My apartment is a studio flat and it is quite simply everything I could have wished for. The living space is fantastic however the greatest thing is about living here is the service provided by the building management and the concierge and it is one of the best services provided that I have come across. The best feature of the place is that it is air conditioned.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like that its close to liverpool street station and Waitrose, I dislike the polluted air here in London.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I cant think of anything at the moment to be honest

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature of the place is that it is air conditioned.

I really enjoy living here as its so convenient being so close to lots of different transport links, however the flat itself is very expensive which isnt great, however the balcony is really nice on the sixth floor. The best feature of my home is that theres a big balcony.
