The development is luxurious with amenities such as a gym, tian tian supermarket and parcel room. It’s like living in a hotel with added benefits including summer and winter parties/ communal breakfasts and a variety of events. The property management team are excellent and provide a rolls Royce service,

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

North Acton is great for commuting with easy access to the central and Elizabeth Line. Parking is limited as nothing on the street being located close to the A40. Development is perfect for train getters. The area is generally quite quiet, a few student accommodation blocks near but you never see any students around.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The gym wasn’t built when we moved in and took 1 year longer to be ready than promised.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature is the spacious rooms that allow a lot of sunlight through.

My development is good, one of the lifts break quite often, which is annoying as it takes longer to catch the lift. It doesn't have a gym or facilities, but it has a 24hr concierge which is useful, the building is new and I quite enjoy it, it also has a great view.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love the Royal Victoria area, DLR station is nearby, it has a great view of the docks, there's a range of restaurants, it has most things I need. The only thing missing is a pharmacy, the rest is great, I feel safe and enjoy living here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There's plenty to discover around here, so walk to Royal wharf and explore the docks.

What is the best feature of your home:

Great balcony, quite spacious, New apartment I've been the first tenant, so it's clean and brand new.

Terrible Management

Disgruntled Tenant (Tenant)

Canary Gateway, E14

Mar 2020

The design is flawed - last summer the sewage drain that joins into the main Commercial Road sewage blocked. There was a terrible smell for days and, in the following months, those of us on the ground floor have significant mould growth. The building management's response was to put in industrial sized dehumidifiers that over heated the flat and didn't seem to be effective. The day concierge throughout this uninhabitable situation did nothing proactive to try and resolve the situation. He planned a Christmas party and put in some furniture into the lobby instead. He said that the blockage wouldn't happen again as he set himself a reminder to book in Thames Water each year to unblock it... Safe to say, what were lovely flats have been ruined and the management company are very much to blame for this.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is ideal - big Lidl and a Tesco. A lovely pub too. Being by the canal is great too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the sewage drainage hadn't been installed correctly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Get rid of the day concierge and the management company. Employ a competent building manager.
