Creatives have been moving here ever since prices in the likes of Hoxton and Hackney began to rise. Now there are more warehouse studios and pop-up exhibitions than ever before, injecting a new cutting-edge feel into what was once prime family territory. Read on to see reviews from residents living in some of the best places to buy and rent in Walthamstow.
Lovely development in Walthamstow
Although 2min from Black Horse Road station living here is really nice and quite especially in the apartments that face the little courtyard which is a lovely feature. There are two coffee shops close by, a Coop and Tesco, so you’ve got most things you need on your doorstep. Walthamstow Wetlands are around the corner which is great. There is an issue with parcels being stolen regularly as delivery companies mostly drop them in areas of the development that aren’t safe from the public.
Please review your development:
The development is fine, relatively high quality of facilities, neutral design which is nice. Property management are putting in quite a bit of effort and are always available. I wish we had a concierge service which would help with the parcel theft. Property management accept parcels if being delivered to them but as it’s a different address to the actual flats that doesn’t happen often.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Next door is student housing which can be loud especially in the summer.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes they always respond to issues in a speedy manner.
