Lovely building but management questionable

The apartment itself is lovely. Very modern new build. Nice to live in. Building is full of lots of young professionals mostly. The management isn’t great. Insulation is great so you’re always toasty in the winter. I do feel they could’ve done better with appliances they chose however.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The building is very central in town. It’s got everything you need nearby. Near a large Sainsbury’s as well as the shopping centre. There’s also a leisure centre 5 minutes away. There’s underground parking for residents which is never full so you can always let guests park temporarily or alternatively there’s street parking and a car park right next to us.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We still have a washer dryer which does not work. The maintenance man himself Steve is helpful but limited by his own management's in what can do.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The insulation is great. Barely use the heating in Winter but in summer it’s also very hot so it’s a real balance.

Building management were always helpful and on hand if needed. Facilities were always clean and maintained. The property itself was nice and modern and up to a good standard. Regular maintenance took place and if there was an issue it was easy to report and quick to fix

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local shops around easy access to everything, loads of food places near by. Easy access to the train station

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always really quickly and any issues were resolved

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing. Everything was as expected. The only thing I would say is we had security there all the time when moving in but that stopped very quickly and it would have been just nice to know.

Lovely building to live in.

I find the management team here to be very good at what they do and incredibly nice to talk to. The design aspect is extremely poor with minimal storage being assigned to each room and even the kitchen. The low quality of materials used is very evident given that there have been a few issues even in the short period of time that the building has had tenants inside. Another issue would be the fact that perhaps the tenants aren’t informed of social etiquettes of living in an apartment building when they move in as some don’t care for the noise they create whilst they are in the hallways as well as inside their homes. I love the fact that there’s a gym in the building which is looked after really well.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I love the central location of the building but I also like that it is on a quiet street. Wide range of local amenities being nearby is a huge plus

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very prompt and very well. I can’t praise them enough for how they handle situations of any kind. Very happy with the management

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had been informed of the fact that we cannot change our energy suppliers especially with such rising energy prices
