Good place to live

The kitchen of the 2 bedroom homes are limited on storage space, but the rest of the home is an adequate size for a first time buyer. Management is lacking, a street light on my street has been broken for 2 years and no one has fixed it despite contacting multiple times.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of local amenities, shops, fast food restaurants all within a 10 minute walk. Parking availability on the street is good, bin collections are regular

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When first moving in they were great to respond to any fixes we needed

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lack of storage space in new builds can be limiting.

I love the design of our house which is the Abbotsbury house. Wide parking space and a big front and backyard. It’s a family friendly place. The design inside it good as well. We have an open living and dining design which i like so much. The bedrooms are good sizes as well.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is in a good area, near the shops like tesco which has a gym as well. It’s close to other local shops and hospital.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We are first time buyer so it’s more on the process or paperworks that we wish we know more.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature will be the kitchen. I fell in love with the design.

Amazing but could be better

The design is great I like the different colour roof tiles and the paths , although the planting and shrubbery could be maintained better I think it has just been left some have died away also the road could be paved it would make the estate look much better

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I think it could do with a local shop close by or even on the estate, bin collection is good , parking is good , estate would look better with the road paved and the noisy drain cover fitted properly every time car goes over it make a loud noise

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That they was a cap on the washing machine fitting

Love the upstairs very un happy with the downstairs of the house

The way the kitchen and front room is together I’d of tried to make use of the space better the kitchen cupboards come far to into the front room so you don’t feel like they are separated at all Which for family’s with children feels like you have very limited space downstairs

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The upstairs of my property is perfect my back garden is a great size where as down stairs they really haven’t made use of the space very well huge downstairs toilet and tiny front room kitchen

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I’m happy with everything but the lay out of the house

Great place to live!

The development is well managed and the open spaces that will be available once the building work is complete will be very useful and looks like it will look amazing. Any issues we have had with our home have been quickly resolved from the development manager as well as staff in the customer services department.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is a very short distance to any major areas of interest, a short drive from Middlesbrough with plenty of parks and nice restaurants close by. The street that I live on is very quiet with no passing traffic.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known what our garden would look like before we completed on the sale. We were told that our garden would be completely flat but once we moved in we realised the garden was actually on quite a steep slope on one side.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

The only thing I would change about my property is the storage space in the kitchen. Compared to some other two bedroom new build properties I have visited, the cupboard space in the kitchen is very minimal with only two full sized cupboards that can be used.
