Horrible Place to Live.

Any urgent queries were managed promptly, although this required outsourcing to an electrician, meaning that the gate was broken into the car park for around 2-3months, allowing full access into the building. However, this was dealt with quickly after a serious break-in. Any non-urgent queries took longer to be resolved. The building was aesthetically nice when we moved in, however it was absolutely trashed in the last few months of our tenancy and has gone really down hill. They need concierge service and CCTV, and there are no communal facilities to speak off.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lots of shops etc nearby and the station is near. The area is awful, with loads of crime, resulting in multiple break-ins into the building while we lived here, including a near break-in into our flat itself, and a flat on the ground floor being broken into. The area is incredibly noisy, see the picture for the time when police descended on the hostel next door and tasered someone.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The constant break-ins into the building meaning you never feel safe in your own home.

What is the best feature of your home:

For a one bed apartment it was a decent size, and was fairly modern.

Right in the centre of town with nice garden views. Lack of concierge and cctv makes it impossible to track and protect the building, thus many break-ins and bike thefts, of which the door of the storage room has was slammed open. Many resident ms don’t care about the place.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Amazing location, everything average

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Lack of concierge promotes break-ins, big parties and theft

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Concierge to control traffic and increase the safety

Nee development which completed in 2018. Have been a tenant since then and had a great stay so far. Quietish area with lovely peace garden as view. Facilities management is average and could potentially be improved. Homeless shelter around the corner which attrack some characters now and again but overall nice place/area to stay.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great central location and close to New Street and shopping. Overlooking Peace garden which is great.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Building not very soundproof as with all new developments, mainly hear footsteps from adjacent apartments however do not really voices which is good.

What is the best feature of your home:

New build top floor with a great balcony and view of Peace Garden

Modern Development Close to the City Centre

The design of the building is great, everything is very bright and modern. The facilities, however, could be improved. The lift and parking gate breaks fairly often and can take time to be repaired. There are also no recycling facilities or free parking, which is a pain. However the building is always kept very clean and tidy.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very good location - walking distance to the city centre and all amenities but still very quiet and safe. There are a number of great bars, restaurants and shops in the Mailbox, which is a 2 minute walk away. Transport links are also great, it is a 10 minute walk to both Five Ways and New Street Station, and there are a number of bus stops nearby.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All issues have mostly been dealt with very quick.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Not a lot of storage space, especially in kitchen.

Happy with development

A moderate design and quite comfortable apartments. The management a bit slow in response. Relatively new building, typical design. Beautiful view from my window of the park. Quiet most of the time and very close to all amenities and facilities.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I like the park opposite the development and the canals with pubs and restaurants in the mailbox I don’t like the noise at night in the park.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

A bit slow in response took me 2 days to deal with some issues

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Noise at the park.
