The development is very well built and the design is very contemporary but very classic at the same time. The grounds could be better kept by the property management. Rarely you can see gardeners on site looking after the green space in the middle of the development. In the summer the green space is never watered meaning that the grass becomes yellow and it's not very nice to look at.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is great and it's serviced very well. Bus stops, supermarket, park, school and hospital are nearby making it this a very convenient area where to live. The streets inside the development are quiet however Saxon Way is not paved and there is a lot of traffic going from this road to Roselawn farm. This is very concerning as there is an high level of traffic noise, dust for the residents of Parva Green living in Saxon Way or at the entrance of the development. The development's entrance looking at the petrol station, the iron gate and the unpaved Saxon Way is not very pleasing to the eye and spoils the 'beauty' of the development.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

This would be Saxon Way and Roselawn farm at the back of the development. We didn't know that this would represent an issue going forward as since we moved in we can see heavy traffic going in and out Saxon Way, and most recently there is a planning proposal to use Roselawn farm and the land at the back as a traveller/show man site. Also, Parva Green residents tend to park their car on the bend just when you enter/exit the development, as a result it can be difficult sometimes coming in and out of the development. Also, the soil used for the garden is very poor and stony, resulting in the lawn having patches of yellow grass and plants don't really grow properly. Finally, the solar panels are not very useful and they won't make any difference in reducing our energy bill or getting energy back as usually we get paid £0.70 by British Gas for the energy we produce with our solar panels. We thought the solar panels would have been a great energy saver but frankly they are a bit useless!

What is the best feature of your home:

It would be the light. The house if full of light making it bright and airy. The garden is beautiful and it's a good size. We wished the 2nd and 3rd bedroom were bigger as if you put a single double bed you won't have much room for anything else, therefore these two bedrooms are in reality single bedrooms.
