House is designed very well and everything is well though out.

House is designed very well and everything is well though out. We don't really know much about the property management and think the flowered area thats not at the front needs looking after more. The parking at the front of the development at school times is terrible and people should not park on the street opposite the car park its a hazard

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on the development is great, nice and quiet. Noise is kept to a minimum and everyone looks after their property.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

They were building more homes on the development and the car park would be changing

What is the best feature of your home:

The layout and the garden size. Well planned out and lovely

Lovely, safe and perfect for a family

The development is spread out so it doesnt feel compact like some developments, roads are wide and properties have heen designed to not feel overlooked. There will be a playing field and childrens play area once the development is finished, we are lucky as the development is surrounded by fields and nature.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very handy location, short walk to local amenities, doctor and schools. Bin collections fortnightly. Railway station is a 5-10 minute walk. The street is friendly, quiet but feels safe, plenty of parking.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Need more storage, not enough kitchen units or wardrobes.

What is the best feature of your home:

Large south facing garden, efficient home and quiet.

Ideal location and good value for money

I bought here as it’s the perfect location to be near to family and my children’s schools. I do like the development, but parking will continue to become a growing issue. Plus there are no restrictive covenants on the front gardens, so we’re seeing an interesting mix of garden makeovers... not to everyone’s taste ? My house has really great dimensions and I do intend to stay long term. The finishes are not the best, so I’ll continue upgrading and replacing over time. But based on the purchase price and location, I think that’s a fair compromise.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The areas best asset is clearly the coastline and fresh air. With more people moving to the area, the range and quality of restaurants and pubs is improving a lot. Rail links into London are good, considering we are at the end of the line. Primary schools are good, but the secondary school seems to have some issues with its academy.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

After the purchase experience, I haven’t bothered raising further issues. The fixes that were done were rudimentary

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The fibre broadband speed is excellent. I have the top BT package, as I work from home and am on video calls all day, and even when the kids are home and on various devices, it never falters. We didn’t both with a Sky package, instead we just use streaming services.

The development itself is still in process as we only purchased during phase 1 so it’s going to be interesting to see how it ends up. Though we have seen the plans and it does look really good. The property we purchased is really nice with a big garden which is ideal for our dog. The construction team have been forever helpful even after buying they have touched anything up we asked about and have even helped with electronics for us.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area as a whole is a really nice place to live. There is a one stop about 5 minutes down the the road which is really handy. As for restaurants there are two pubs about a 10 minute walk away which serve food and The Red Lion in particular is really nice with an outdoor seating area. There is also a train station 10 minute walk in the other direction which can take you to London. At the beginning of the estate there is a bus stop also. We have lived on our street since January and everyone has been really nice so far and have had no issues what so ever.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I honestly haven’t got a bad thing to say about the experience of buying and moving in. The finches park team have been really helpful throughout the whole process and still check in to make sure everything’s going alright and we are doing well which is really nice of them.

What is the best feature of your home:

I think mine and my partners best feature of the home is the garden because it is really big and when the sun has been shining we get it all day which is really nice.
