I live in a Longford house. I love the design of the downstairs, with the massive kitchen snd living room and utility room. I feel like the upstairs would work better with three bigger bedrooms rather than four small ones. I love my en-suite and the storage cupboard. I don’t like the shillies used on the driveway, it would be much better with resin or tarmac. The shillies go everywhere. The smoke alarm is too near the cooker in the kitchen snd goes of when using the grill.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is a small town with a Spar, takeaways and a couple of pubs. There is lots of open space beside the river Esk and a small park. I live on a quiet street with no parking issues, fortnightly bin collections and no anti social behaviour.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It took a lot of work to sort the garden out. Soil was full of stones and bricks.

What is the best feature of your home:

I love the size of my kitchen, the French doors going out to my garden and the utility room xxx

Space used well and Cork layout suitable for a first time buyer living alone. Bedrooms are a decent size and living room feels spacious. Could do with more storage and cupboards. Big garden but had drainage problems that developer reluctant to solve.

Local amenities within walking distance. Good transport links to local city.

Drainage issues.

Spacious yet compact. Big garden and energy efficient.

I do love my gleesons home and room size is not an issue for me although I do think the layout with regards to doors etc could of been better though out there is also no storage what so ever which I find the hardest part I have a garage which i feel very lucky about as otherwise we would really struggle, I do overall feel more positive towards my home than negative

We live in a really quiet area with lovely walks next to no anti-social behaviour we have a double drive with our home so no problems for parking my only issue with the local area is there could be me more for kids

I think just make sure when you go for your home demo you really check every single thing to make sure you are completely happy but also don’t be put off as you have to remember if you bought an old house it would also have things to fix

What is the best feature of your home:

I love my garden we have a very spacious garden and I love that the French doors open put on to it on a nice day and let’s the outside in

Lovely grass area

The design of the estate is well layed out with a lovely big grass area in the middle,perfect for summer and getting to know the neighbours! Would have been nice to have some sort of park for the children who live here. House are evenly spaced out compared to a normal new build house estate!

Quite estate, plenty of parking if you have guest visiting. Always kept looking nice, everyone is lovely and friendly!

Getting things done in your home once you have moved in is a bit of a nightmare

Garden sizes are good, energy efficient, light rooms
