Design was good and very open and spacious

Design was good and very open and spacious. Property management company are dreadful, very unhelpful and slow to resolve acknowledge issues or solve them. Road layout is poorly designed and in disrepair. Street layout is very poorly designed as well.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lack of bars/restaurants in area. However ok transport links to city centre help in this aspect. Friendly neighbours, good bin collections.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How little the property management company or builder cares after sale.

What is the best feature of your home:

High ceilings, spacious bedrooms with built in double ward robes. communal bins.

House itself is great. spacious and high quality. When we bought the house the sales team was superb and accommodating. The after service from Scotia was excellent. All problems and queries were answered in a timely manner and we always felt support was there.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Cove itself doesn’t have much in terms of shops and restaurants, however, it is easily accessible for getting into town. A train station would be a massive help to the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

A garage would have been great and a path around the house.

What is the best feature of your home:

The space is the best part and large garden. High ceilings, wide doors is very unique. The kitchen is large also which usually gets mentioned when we r have visitors.

Really like our development and design, feels nice and homely. No issues with building or property management. Good facilities near by that we use frequently. Plenty of play parks for children. Difficult to find some streets some times. Area always looks clean and tidy

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Really convenient for us as near local shops, and main transport links. Quiet area the only issue is parking for visitors on our street as seems to be little spaces for anyone visiting your house. Also not ideal communal satellite dish as if damaged it affects more than 1 house

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Factoring fees!!

What is the best feature of your home:

The high ceilings make our house look a lot more bigger.

Road design is a little confusing if you don’t know where you’re going and our road name is used on what should be separate streets. Delivery drivers occasionally struggle to find our us. House design is really nice aesthetically from the outside in particular, part of what appealed to us in the beginning. Garden layouts with upstairs and downstairs flats could be maximised - remove path in between and have direct access through gardens perhaps. Closest restaurant/bar is 25 minute walk according to google maps so a closer option would be nice or even a cafe instead to cater to the non-drinkers.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Local corner shop fulfils our needs, no nearby restaurants/bars. Barber and hairdresser nearby which we have utilised. Bus stop easily walkable. School kids walk by our home but no issues there other than occasional cycling school kid in middle of roads - only an issue when driving. Bin collections like clockwork. Parking a-plenty. Road noise from Nearby Wellington Road is notable but perhaps fixed with hedging, trees.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Factor Fee is somewhat unexpected if not used to private development area not within council maintenance bounds.

What is the best feature of your home:

Private front and back door and private garden despite being a flat/apartment.

A charger would be good as requested since times are changing. A water connection out side would be good, some days it’s short on spaces as the car park wasn’t done to the design. The flats are nice just lacking more help from the factoring during the snow as none of our roads are gritted

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Easy to get in to town if needed and plenty options for food. My only issue is car charging is low and need more

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No hose to wash car, factoring is expensive, no chance of getting chargers installed

What is the best feature of your home:

Good view looking over the loch and our friendly neighbours.
