Great flat in central Aberdeen!

Great flat in central Aberdeen! Large spacious flats completed to a good standard - I just wish there was more storage inside. The communal area is cleaned weekly and outdoor area is also well maintained with any litter being collected and grass cut often. Sometimes the communal bin areas can be very unkempt, but the association are on top of this and quick to send out letters when this becomes the case. Repairs are completed promptly. It is unfortunate regarding the parking situation. I wish they had allocated a space for every flat instead of leaving it a “free for all” as it can be very difficult to park.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great place to stay; close to town; great bus stops; corner shop and store nearby - within walking distance; area is well maintained both outside and in. Issues - lack of parking and lack of storage options.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All repairs logged are resolved within a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking - I wish we’d known how terrible it would be to try and find a space. If I’m going to be home anytime after 5.30pm I dread it knowing I’ll unlikely get a space.

Good place to stay

We lived in a two bedroom flat - both rooms were very spacious and finished to a good standard. The lift would break often, however once a repair was logged this would always be fixed quickly. Parking can also be difficult if you arrive home after 5pm. However it is overall a lovely development which is very well maintained.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location; close to town; plenty buses nearby; local corner shop for convenience and larger shop within a 5 minute walk.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Repairs have all been resolved within a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Parking can be really difficult, especially if you arrive home after 6pm it is almost impossible to get a space.

I feel that the car parking layout isn't great

I feel that the car parking layout isn't great as people from other streets will just dump their cars and this leaves no room for residents and sometimes you will never get a space near your house which doesn't help if your disabled or heavily pregnant as the layout isn't clearly marked its more of a first come basis

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Range of shops given location is okay and only short walk to town and buses are available close by although if you don't like hearing noise you can't live on the bottom or the road side

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I feel that there is a lacking when it comes to repairs and you will be waiting weeks sometimes for something they don't deem to be an "Emergency"

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The option to move within the same area and landlord but to move from one property to another you need 2 deposits and first months rents with the proviso they will "fast track your deposit back"

The building is well maintained, clean and fresh. The only downside is that the lift often breaks but the stairs are there. I like this development and enjoy living here. It is close to city center about a 20 minute walk which is great there are also hairdressers on Victoria road.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good location. Friendly neighbours. Well maintained park and plenty of parking. I like the area it is good bing close to Tesco and lidl very short walk.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Lift was broken for a week but that was due to a part needing to be ordered. Other than that I am happy.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

You will be surprised what you can for in a lift. I like.

Great place to live

The flats are designed and finished to a good standard. They are large and spacious which can be uncommon with newer builds. The building is managed to a high standard with cleaners visiting regularly to clean communal areas. Furthermore, the outdoor area (grass etc) is all managed to a great standard.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The flats are located in a great location, close to the City Centre and can be accessed by foot within 10 minutes. There is also public transport available with buses passing regularly. The amenities in the area are great, with a local corner shop and hairdressers, additional shops, pharmacies and a dentist nearby. The only issue is the lack of parking available within the development.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have sent somebody round to assess the issues. Most of which have been resolved with only a few issues being dismissed as not their responsibility.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we knew that the parking was going to be such an issue.
