Community feel by the water

Great areas with lots of new local businesses. Much more spacious apartments than other areas nearby close to the canal and riverside away from main roads. Good community feel and decent access to public transport will be made even easier with new footbridge being built to station. Management of buildings generally good with the exception of slow billing and backlogs.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Really nice area by the canal and riverside. Good community feel and more spacious properties than the likes of Acton or Ealing. Management good but billing slow and confusing.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Generally very quick to resolve issues but billing from previous provider confusing and late

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The birds on the water can be a bit noisy at times

Stay away.

1. No lift, have to walk 2 stories to our flat, imagine carrying loads of stuff you’ll be dead when home. 2. Gated estate but no concierge or security guard to receive parcels and mails. My parcels and mails always got lost without even knowing. Had to go downstairs walk all the way to the gate to open it to get food delivery. 3. Walls between flats are extremely thin and hollow, I can hear next flat having sex at night and when they pee and flushed it’s like you’re in Niagara Falls every time. 4. The other tenants are so low and scummy always party every weekend till 4 in the morning. They smoked weed and cigarettes and somehow those smells came into my flat, it’s unbearable and I’m asthmatic, complain is useless nobody cares in this country. 5.postcode of the address is not even registered in the system, can’t find the address on any maps and internet sorting. This flat is a ripped off for 750 per month. Stay away.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Like: 20 mins walk to centre, one station away from picadilly. Dislike: everything.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Should know there’s no lift before we view the flat

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I don’t think anything will ever change. It’s the people that made it even worse.

I really enjoy living at BLW. I think the design and finish of the building is very good.

I really enjoy living at BLW. I think the design and finish of the building is very good. One design aspect I don't like are the pillars on the top floor balcony- they only seem to have these on some of the balconies and not others so it's clearly only for aesthetic and it blocks sun for a big portion of the day.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I enjoy Brentford as a whole, there are many pubs and these are varying so cater to different people. I have recently got to know the walks along the canal which are lovely- as are the walks along the river

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The sales team at BLW are brilliant, they were ever so helpful.

What is the best feature of your home:

I absolutely love the large windows! it's a fabulous feature although does get very hot in the summer!

A secluded oasis in West London

It's a beautiful and secluded development. Whilst underneath the flight path, the development itself is effectively a cul de sac and set away from Brentford high street. It's right next to the canal too so is lovely in summer and is pretty peaceful. The other residents are quiet and respectful.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Brentford is an area going through a huge regeneration at the moment. Definitely one to keep an eye on! Really close to the Piccadilly line, with the Waterloo main line passing through the town. Also a short bus hop to the Overground at Gunnersbury and the central line at Ealing Broadway. Really well connected part of London.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Generally pretty good. Most things are tended to and fixed immediately, or engineers called when necessary.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The apartments are really well insulated - great in winter and a lovely hot temperature in the summer.

The view is very pleasant from the courtyard. The surrounding is very nice and the rooms are spacious so i have space to roam around. The balcony is useful and the windows are well insulated. I like how there are two bathrooms. The management isn't clear on money though. Im not sure which money goes to where.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I dislike that theres no shops nearby But i like how well insulated the rooms are

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I had problems with loose tiles so the management responded very promptly

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i knew that the tube station isnt closeby.
