Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's quiet here which is great. Student accommodations are the worst though, so dont get your hopes up. PS121 has no reception and thus cannot receive packages for you. a lot of failed deliveries.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

None at all. Posted a request 2 weeks ago and no one has come since.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That it would be a completely empty flat. no pillows. bath rooms would be mouldy, and the whole room would be as dirty as if the flat was never cleaned once in its life.

Living in this development has been a mixed experience

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living here has its ups and downs. The local shops are varied, with a good mix of independent boutiques and larger chains, though some might find the selection limited. Restaurants offer diverse cuisines, and the bar scene is lively, but it can get crowded on weekends. Parks are well-maintained, providing nice open spaces for relaxation. Transport links are decent, with buses and trains connecting to nearby areas, but rush hour can be a challenge due to delays. On my street, parking can be tricky, especially in the evenings, but bin collections are reliable. There's occasional noise from traffic, but it’s generally manageable. Overall, it’s a friendly neighborhood, though some residents have raised concerns about minor anti-social behavior.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has generally been responsive, addressing urgent issues quickly. However, for less pressing matters, the follow-up can be slow. Communication about updates could improve for a better overall experience.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how noisy it can get during weekends, especially from nearby bars. It’s lively, but if you're looking for a quieter atmosphere, that’s something to consider. Additionally, I didn’t realize how limited parking could be during peak hours; it’s worth looking into alternative transport options if you have a car. A tip for new neighbors: get to know the community board! They often share helpful information about events and maintenance schedules, which can really enhance your living experience here.
