Close to local shops/pubs and parks

Close to local shops/pubs and parks so lots to do in the daytime, generally nice aria with not much disturbances at night from local residence or traffic noise, enough parking for everyone out front with extra added on. Close to local transport links and the perfect out of city center distance from Manchester but still walkable

Please review your development:

The huse itself is really nice, looks sleek and modern from the outside maximizing on space if the property. The living room on the first floor could be an ofput to some people however I personally quite like it! Nice little garden outside the back perfect for the summer time

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is nothing that comes to mind really! The gates don’t work on the entrance to the community so one is left open all the time and one is constantly shut but that’s about it

What is the best feature of your home:

Big spacious kitchen/dining room that opens straight up onto the garden along with a garage that opens from the front and the back making it ideal for hosting friends/family

Room for improvement

Covinient location to transport links and a few local shops near by. Some residents leave their bins outside on the street and blocking the entry to the car park. There’s lots of fly tipping in private property and property management are slow to act not reprimanding those causing issues. There is anti social behaviour from local teenagers and other residents causing excessive noise. Not enough parking causing flat residents to park directly in front of our front door and blocking the path.

Please review your development:

Buildings need to be sound proofed more to block noise from upstairs neighbours and. Property management need to do more to maintain the communal outside areas and the streets which would help reduce fly tipping. Building in generally designed well but there are flaws.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Researched the area more and understand the terms of the property management services as it seems like they aren’t responsible for what the contract says they are but we pay out a lot of money for nothing to be maintained.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They respond fast but nothing gets done. They are nice enough but nothing seems to be a priority and when they do visit to check issues nothing is fixed or sorted.

Great flats to live in, walkable to city centre and has secure parking!

Review Date Sep 2024

Great location near the city centre – co working space, a shop and bar/restaurant all within the complex. Parking options could maybe be better but free short term parking is available. Close to train stations and trams but I mostly walk to places as it’s most convenient

Please review your development:

The flats are very modern, our 2 bedroom flat has 2 excellent bathrooms and is a great space. The building is kept clean, shoutout to the very friendly cleaner too!, parking is available and is secure. At a push I’d maybe say I’d like a gym in the buildings but that’s not a necessity but a lot of flats do offer gyms now. Property management are always quick to help and meet your needs. We really enjoy living here!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Maybe that there wasn’t a concierge in the building for post – but this has since been resolved and the post situation is much better but still is in a separate building

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes always quick to respond – there was one issue around payments but they resolved their end very quickly.

Great apartments to live in a great area

Review Date Sep 2024

The area itself in MiddleWood Locks is beautiful and peaceful with lots of greenery and nature, it could do with more shops but it has a coffee shop, bar and connivence store which is enough to suit needs. It is also round the corner from a retail park which is useful!

Please review your development:

The building and apartments here are very modern and minimalistic despite that they still give off a homely feel and allow you the freedom to decorate as you wish. The balcony feels very secure and spacious and the kitchen appliances are modern and sleek

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish that I had known about the referral scheme you offer for getting people to move

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes they responded to a problem we had about our toilet leaking
